BLAIR SAT IN DYLAN'S BED AS SHE waited for him to get out the shower, her texting her dad back as he asked how her and her sister were doing, and if they needed anymore money.

with christmas coming up as november came to an end blair knew she needed more money, especially with the long list of gifts addy had requested.

despite that she said no, not wanting to drain her fathers bank account since he still had to pay the child support that was more supporting his ex wife.

blair suddenly felt herself tearing up, but she couldn't pinpoint exactly why. the door to the bathroom opened, dylan coming out while drying his hair. blair wiped her eyes quickly, picking up her phone.

dylan walked to his drawers, looking for a shirt and choosing one before pulling it over his head. he then went into the bed, giving blair a kiss on her cheek and then laying down.

"you know, you're as good as hiding things are you are at skeeball." dylan said, mentioning blair's terrible loss earlier that day.

"that's a compliment, i'm good at both then." blair said. "sure. you lost in skeeball and i also just saw you crying." dylan said.

"i wasn't crying." blair lied. dylan tilted his head, taking blair's face and lifting it up from her phone.

"when you cry the twinkle in your eyes go away." he said looking into her dark browns eyes. "i don't have a twinkle in my eyes." blair said.

"yes beautiful you do." dylan nodded, smiling. he took blair's phone off her lap, turning it off and putting it on his side table.

"it's me and you only, talk to me why were you crying. and before you say anything, i'm your boyfriend and i only ever want to see you happy, so i am going to care." dylan said.

"well dyl..to be honest...i don't know why i was crying. i guess i just miss when my parents were together, and when i was just..okay? if that makes any sense."

"like back when my mom was home, my parents loved each other, i cared about myself? i don't know, it's stupid." blair said shaking her head, reaching over dylan to get her phone.

he grabbed her arm, putting it down on his lap. "stop saying thing are stupid when your talking about your feelings. it makes me really sad." dylan said.

"you're allowed to have feelings, you're human. especially with you've gone through and still are. heck blair i would be in a mental hospital if i was you. feel what you need to, and it's normal to know know why your feeling what you are. but just know you can always text me, call me, talk to me and i'll listen."

"and run to my house."  blair joked. "and run to your house." dylan said.

blair laughed, wrapping her arms around dylan as they layed down.

"also, you have very nice..muscles." blair said. "what?"

"when you were at your drawer..your um—" blair said, clearing her throat.

"back muscles..they're nice. really..nice." she quietly said, and dylan's face turned into a smile.

"you wanna see them again." he teased. "keep your clothes on hoffman."

"this is your favorite movie." dylan said as blair and him watched the parent trap. (nayah: sorry guys this is actually my favorite movie...sorry for the self insert.)

"yes! what is so wrong about it." blair said, eating the mcdonald's that her and dylan doordashed at 12 in the morning.

"did you just finesse your way into making me watch a romance movie that doesn't seem like one." dylan said.

"maybe..." blair smiled. "i'll let it slide because it's you. but just this once." dylan said, putting his finger in blair's face.

"give up the sass and just eat a fry." blair said, picking up a french fry and feeding it to her boyfriend.

"you know, we never talked about how you liked me for 6 years..fourth grade.." blair said.

"oh boy. i was hoping you never brought this up." dylan said. "it's your turn to explain dyl." blair said, pausing the movie.

"do i really have to." he said cringing. "yes, chop chop." blake said as she ate her food.

dylan sighed, "okay...."

"so, fourth grade. we were in the same class, me, you, irene, and ryan." dylan said. "i remember that." blair said.

"the third week of school, i had left a water bottle open in my lunchbox and it soaked my entire lunch and snacks and everything. i was so sad, and i was also hungry."

"the teacher gave me a small snack she had, but it was mostly air. you were kind enough to get up from your table and hand me a sandwich and pack of oreos."

"you said to me, 'my dad packed one for my cheer practice but my friend's mom is gonna take us for food after, so you can have it. the oreos are just an extra, i'm full.'"

"then i told you it was okay, i would be fine. but you insisted, telling me i had to eat for me to grow big and tall. then you hugged me and told me to not let what happened ruin my day."

"after that day, you were all i thought about. eventually i told my sister and that's when i found out about crushes. you went from kind sandwich girl, to blair, and i used to look at you all the time in class, hope we shared a class the next year — which we always did — and hoped we got put in the same groups on trips."

"when we were friends in seventh grade, everyone started dating and i wanted to ask you out but i didn't know how that would end because you made it very clear we were friends. remember when my friends would tease you? it was because they knew i had liked you for three years then, and they were trying to tease you into liking me."

blair gasped, "are you serious. that was the real reason! i thought it was because they just wanted us to date." she said in shock.

"yup that's the truth. i had crushes that weren't you of course, but i always had feelings for you no matter what. when we were enemies, i actually kinda became obsessed with you. i think knowing you hated my guts just made me want you even more. and i achieved that goal."

"so all those years, you were...infatuated with me, and i didn't even know?" blair said. "unlike you i hide things very well." dylan said.

"i'll admit, i never suspected anything." blair said. "see, i'm amazing."

blair laughed, and dylan brought her down to lay down with him. he gave her a quick kiss on her lips, smiling as he pulled back.

"i really got lucky." he whispered. "what?" blair said. "nothing."

blair nodded, then moving closer to her boyfriend. "now..about that horrible cheer you made up for my hoco proposal..." blair said.

"we're not getting into that one."

"please."

"not a chance."
