I woke up, and rolled over, and snuggled into the warm arms that were wrapped around. Paying no attention to the person who was holding me, I tried to drift back into sleep. No one had held me like this in a long time, especially since I had gotten so busy with the hotel. He's so fucking comfortable. My hopes of falling asleep again were destroyed when Vic spoke.
"Hey," he said, before shifting. He moved so that he wasn't as close to me.
I let out an ugly whine as I felt myself getting cold. Vic had been right; after that nap I felt relaxed and warm. The lack of his body heat left me feeling deprived and cold.
Vic chucked before getting out from bed. I was slightly disappointed when I saw that he had put on a shirt. More long sleeves. When did he have time to change? How long did I sleep for?
"What time is it?" As I ran a hand through my hair.
"Like," Vic looked down at his phone. "6:30"
"Wow, I slept for six hours." I said. I'd never slept for that long in the day before
"Way more than six, Specs. Its 6:30. AM."
If I was drinking water I would've choked.
"You let me sleep for that long!" I nearly screamed. I threw the blankets off me and stumbled out of bed, not fully awake yet.
"Why would you do that?" I cried. "I have to work today!"
I ran around the room frantically looking for clothes while trying not to trip over Vic's suitcase. His loud laughter could be heard over the sound of my frantic footsteps and muffled swearing. Suddenly Vic's arms wrapped around me, his presence startling me. I became more aware of his laughter, since he was now so close to me.
"What are you doing?" I asked as he steered me towards the bathroom. He let go of me once I had gotten inside. He stood with his arms crossed as he leaned against the door frame, still laughing.
"What's so funny?" I pouted.
"You, specs." He rolled his eyes. "I'm just fucking with you again." I wish. I think I was starting to like Vic, and I wasn't sure if that was a good thing. "It's 6:30PM, I was just joking about it being morning."
"You, you fuckass!" I said loudly. Stumbling over my choice of words. I ended up saying something that I had heard Vic say before. "What about my dad?" I questioned. He had mentioned something about going out for dinner while we were eating. Something about having to tell me big news. Whatever the hell that meant.

"He called." he said nonchalantly, his eyes meeting mine. I never liked looking into peoples eyes, which made being a business man difficult at times, but there was something about looking into Vic's that made my heart beat a little faster.
My mouth dropped when he spoke. I never missed calls from my father.
"I answered it though." My mouth dropped even more. Vic had done well with my dad earlier on in the day, but I doubted his ability to answer the phone to my dad's standards.
"He asked if you were there, and I said that you weren't feeling well and were taking a shower while I made you some soup, and he said that that was very unfortunate." Vic said.
"Did he really say 'very unfortunate'?" I asked, running a hand through my hair.
"Yes, he did, Specs. I wasn't finished!" He said, suddenly sounding very sassy. "Then he said that he was glad to speak with me, and I said that I enjoy meeting him, and he said that he was disappointed that you hand't told him about our 'relationship' and naturally I agreed. And then he asked iff we were free Wednesday for dinner, and I said that we are, so cancel whatever plans you might've had cos' we're gonna go eat. And then we said goodbye."
"Ugh, god. Okay." I groaned. "Count how many times you said 'and'."
"Oh shut up, Specs. I practically just saved you." He had a good point.
"Go shower, and I'll made us something to eat for dinner." Vic said. I also doubted his ability to cook.
Vic began to close the door and walk out. Suddenly he stuck his head back in the door. Good thing I hadn't taken off my boxers yet.
"By the way!" He said cheerily. "I called that kid, what's his name? Cory! I told him that you're taking up to Wednesday off because of your father."
"Vic," I groaned. I was doing a lot of groaning today.
"Don't worry Specs, i doubt you take much time off anyway. And if it comes to it, you can just go downstairs and work anyway. I bet the time you took to sleep today helped you relax, didn't it? You're not gonna regret this time off, trust me." He said before closing the door.
For some odd reason, I pushed all my doubts away and decided to trust him. After all, what's the worst thing that could happen?
-------
About 30 minutes later, I stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around my waist. I shook out my hair and grabbed a brush as I walked out of the bathroom. I walked over to my dresser and pulled out a pair of boxers, sweatpants and a white shirt.
"Vic!" I called as I began to walk towards the stairs, successfully tripping over a pillow. "Shit." I muttered. Where the fuck are my glasses? I saw them lying on the bedside table, beside Vic's pill bottles. When did he put them there?
"In the kitchen!" I heard him reply. I slipped on my glasses are I jogged lightly down the stairs, brushing my hair as I went.
"Specs!" Vic spoke loudly.
"Yeah?" I asked, thinking he was gonna ask me something. Instead he just smiled.
"You haven't worn your glasses in a while. Yo, dude, you have like, zero food. But like I found enough things to make a divine meal." He said, wiggling his eyebrows.
(A/N AYY ANYONE SEE WHAT I DID)
I laughed before sliding into a chair. The smell of the food hit me, and I was surpassed that it actually smelled, well, good. I hope it tastes the same way. Vic brought a plate of pasta in front on me a fork sticking out of it. He put another plate down beside me and sat down in the chair next to mine. I took a bite of the pasta and was pleasantly surprised. It definitely tasted as good as it smelled.. "Shut, Vic! This tastes so fucking good, I didn't know you could cook!" I exclaimed.
"Thanks." he said with a small smile.
Vic was nice, friendly, musically talented, hot and he could cook. Maybe living with him wouldn't be so bad after all.
A/N so things are gonna start happening in the next chapter and I'm sorry if chapter nine was confusing bc part of it was missing for a bit but hopefully i managed to sort it out :)
