{Riley's P.O.V.}
The week had gone by in a blur. It was already the end of the of the day and I was super stoked that it was summer vacation. I could relax and not think about doing homework or assignment, or exams for that matter. Walking out of the school doors I headed in the direction of my house, but I was stopped by someone calling my name. "Riley! Riley!"
Turning around I came face to face with none other than Colten. Grayson. Blake. The guy I've had a crush on since freshman year. But sadly every time I'm near him I freeze up and start talking nonsense. It's sad I know, but I've always been bad talking to the opposite sex. Or anyone for that matter.
"Hey, Riley I've been meaning to talk to you about next years prom. Since next year we will be graduating, I was wondering if we can work together. You know the Photography club and the yearbook committee?" He said with a smile. Colten is part of the yearbook committee, he's been sort of "in charge" of what goes on in that club. He's really the 'go to' guy if there are any problems.
Me, well I'm part of the photography club. I started back in my freshman year, the same year that Colten started in the yearbook committee. Unlike Colten, I wasn't really in charge of the photography club or the 'go to' girl. I was more the girl who took all the photos because I, apparently was born to be a photographer.
Well, I guess that's a good thing because I want to go into photography in the future. If you walk into my room, the walls are almost completely covered in all the photos I've taken in the course of my life.
"Hello, earth to Riley??" I was interrupted from my daze as Colten waved his hand in front of my face. "Oh. Yea. Umm. Sounds great!" I say stumbling over my words. He chuckled and nodded.
"Here I can give you my number. So that you know we can talk about what we can do over the summer. If you want?" He asked taking his phone from out of his pocket. "What do you say?"
"Number. Umm yours. Mine. I'm. I mean yeah?" I ranted again. He laughed again. "Alright here." He said handing me his phone. I grabbed it and quickly typed my name and number on it and handed it back.
"Thanks. I'll see you around Riley. Have a great summer!"
"Yea! You too! Bye!" I said waving to him and turned around to head home. I mentally face palmed myself. 'Nice going Riles' inner I said.
"Riley! Riley!" Oh no! He's coming back. I don't want to make a bigger fool of myself than I already am. But this time turning around, I wasn't faced to face with Colten, but none other than my best friend Isabella White. Oh, thank the heavens!
"Hey, Izzy!" I say giving her a smile. "Oh. My. God! Do my eyes see correctly or am 'I just dreaming!" she squealed.
"What do you mean?" I asked giving her a confused look.
"You and Mister Blake?" She questions wriggling her eyebrows at me. Laughing I simply shrugged my shoulders. "Don't shrug your shoulders at me. Start talking missy." She tells me poking my shoulder.
Giving a slight laugh I looked over at her and asked, "Do you really want to know?" She nodded for me to keep talking. "He just asked for my number that's it," I say shrugging again. Isabella squealed again as if she were the one that had just talked to a cute boy. "Omigod, What happened?!?"
"All that happened was he came up to me, asked if the photography club and the yearbook committee want to come together next year and do something cool since we are all graduating. So he asked for my number so we can talk about it over the summer break." I told her in one big breath. I looked over at her and saw she was giving me a smug smile. "Don't give me that look. I kind of screwed it up with my horrible word vomit, so don't look at me like that." I tell her running a hand down my face. She laughed and shook her head at me.
"Oh Riles, your word vomits are the cutest." She giggled. "Yeah maybe for you, but for other people they always make fun of me or laugh. Colten kept laughing every time I kept ranting on. I seriously thought I was going to die."
"Well, that's what happens when you talk to your crush girly." She tells me patting my shoulder. "No that's not true! My mouth starts blabbing nonsense once I start to interact with everyone and anyone." She laughed at that.
"That's very true," she nodded, "anyway I should be heading home or you know mom and dad will start worrying about me. Parents." She says rolling her eyes. I laughed as she headed the opposite way. "I'll see you later Riles! Text me!" She says waving her hand that was holding her phone at me.
"Yup, I will! See you later!" I say with a slight laugh. And I was off.

Getting home I went upstairs to say hi to my mom, then headed to my room. I decided to change into something comfier. Heading over to my closet I pulled out some cut-off shorts and a baggy sweater. Now that's what I'm talking about. Going over to my bed, I flopped down. Pulling the covers over my body I decided to let sleep take over and I was out.
I was awoken by something jumping on me...more like someone. Opening my eyes I could just make out a small dark figure jumping up and down on my bed in the pitch black room. Rubbing my eyes, I grabbed my glasses from my nightstand and shoved them on my face. Looking over I found Benji completely still, smiling at me. Rolling my eyes I threw the covers off of me.
"What's up Ben?" I said poking his nose. He swatted my hand away and kept smiling. "What Benji!?!" I say, irritation dripping from my voice. With his pointer finger, he gestured for me to follow. He led me down the stairs and towards the front door then stopped.
"Benji, please just tell what you need. Why did you bring me downstairs?" I groaned placing my hands on my hips. "I think I can answer that." Someone said from the doorway chuckling. I didn't even realize someone was at the door. Spinning around I came face to face with none other than...
"Colten?" Again.
