Aurora didn't even bother to go to her biology lecture; she just decided to prepare to talk to Elijah. She knew where she had to start. She couldn't lead with the fact that she was pregnant. She knew that he would ignore everything else that she had to say.
She wanted to come clean about everything. She was tired of holding onto everything and feeling guilty all the time for not telling him she was ready to let everything go and face everything she had been keeping to herself no matter how hard it would be. She was not going to be able to stand the look on his face when she told him.
Everyone had offered to be there for her if she needed any support but she knew it was something she needed to do on her own. As much as she hated it and as scared as she was she needed to own up to her mistakes.
She paced around in her room trying to practice everything without crying even though it had been impossible to keep her emotions in check with all the hormonal changes the pregnancy was causing her. She wondered if Elijah already knew she skipped her class. He was probably waiting outside the lecture so she just sent him a text to meet her at the dorm.
Aurora was sitting in her bed waiting for him to arrive, flinching at the thought of someone knocking on the door until it finally happened. She could almost feel her heart drop to her feet that suddenly couldn't move at the thought of opening the door.
Once the door was open everything was over but she pushed herself off the bed and walked towards the door and opened it. Seeing him there with a wide smile to see him she couldn't help but smile as well she had missed him so much and wished they were in different circumstances.
She stepped aside letting him in then shut the door. When she turned around she attempted to walk past him but she felt his hand on her wrists that pulled her in then she felt his hand on her hip.
She looked everywhere but his face caused him to furrowed his brows. He didn't know why she was being so distant when all he wanted was to hold her and never let go but for some reason he felt like all she wanted was to let go.
"Aurora..." he removed his hand from her wrist and brought it to her chin moving her look to him. "Is everything alright?"
She couldn't help but shut her eyes. Nothing was alright at all. Even if being in his arms made everything feel amazing she knew deep down everything was falling apart.
"May I kiss you?" He asked and she just shook her head. She couldn't allow him to do that when she was about to probably break his heart into pieces with what she had to say.
"Elijah I need to talk to you" she blurted out in a serious tone and he caught onto the hint they needed to talk but everything in him just wanted to hold her something he had been wishing to do for weeks.
