It had been a weird few weeks. Aurora was as busy as ever trying to finish up her finals for winter break as well as everyone else which was good since it gave both of them the time to think. More Elijah than Aurora since she barely had any time to think about herself with all she had to do but Elijah had been thinking a lot. Of course he was a bit hurt; he hated the thought of Aurora with his brother.
Then again it wasn't the first time it had happened but back then it wasn't like Aurora owed him any loyalty but now it was different. He understood she was hurt too and what he did was also wrong but he just wished she hadn't gone to Klaus for comfort. He found himself spiraling too much. He had to admit he couldn't let go of Aurora with the days they have been spending giving each other space he began to miss her.
Especially now that it was official she was pregnant with his kid. They had done the test and it had shown up as a match. After that he found himself not being able to care about anything else in the world but the baby and Aurora.
He was willing to put everything behind. Willing to make sure neither of them hurt each other once more. He just wanted everything to be okay for once. He just wanted to enjoy the peace they had now before it started back up again instead of being mad at each other.
Ever since Aurora announced to everyone she was pregnant everyone all the sudden became overprotective over her non stop. They constantly checked on her by now she was almost twelve weeks almost done with her first trimester that was killing her a bit. The constant nausea and breast pain was insufferable.
She was currently in her dorm finishing up her last lab report and tomorrow she had her last exam and then she would be done for the semester. Caroline was currently going over flashcards nervously since she had an exam today. They were all in panic mode to say the least and Aurora was going insane with the lack of caffeine in her system since she couldn't consume any.
Eventually someone knocked on the door causing Caroline to go open it while she continued to quiz herself with her flashcards. Aurora turned around to see Elijah and she smiled watching as he looked at the blonde with an amused look then to her.
"Brought some food...remember you mentioning a burger sounded appetizing. I also brought her one.." Elijah spoke and Caroline finally looked his way.
"Thanks you can leave it there but I have to go..." She quickly gathered her things making sure she didn't forget anything.
"Care, you'll be okay, it's okay, Breathe" Aurora spoke up, noticing how she was panicking badly.
"Yeah. Right..." She took a deep breath before heading out. Aurora just chuckled at how nervous she was then looked to elijah.
