"How is my favorite daughter?" Damon's voice was heard from Aurora's phone that she had on speaker while she walked around the compound.
"I'm your only daughter and...I am...super pregnant"she sighed looking down at her stomach that continued to grow everyday. "Literally huge"
"I'm sure you look beautiful," he assured. "You know I called because your mother and I were thinking we should take a little trip. Check up on you, help around. What do you say?"
"I guess. Actually I wanted to talk to you guys about that...I'll probably give birth here. Traveling is too much for me at this point. I take more naps everyday" Aurora looked around and sighed at the mess Hope had made before she left to Hayley's house.
Damon figured Aurora was going to want to stay in New Orleans. He had heard her say many times how call her life was. How easy it was to do school online and rest all day.
It wasn't like anything interesting was going on in mystic falls. He didn't see the reason for staying there. He wanted to be near his daughter and also wanted to protect her.
Ada got more anxious as the days went by. She couldn't believe Aurora had gone so long pregnant and they had yet to make a move on her. She still had a few weeks till her due date and it was worrying her.
"Then we will travel to you. Your due date is three weeks away and the baby can come at any time. We'll get to making arrangements for us to go" it wasn't that Aurora didn't want her parents around. She did.
The problem was she knew how suffocating they could be. Another reason which she felt completely guilty of thinking that way was how much her mother reminded her of how she was cursed.
If Ada was around Aurora she saw it as a constant reminder also the fact that her mother was even more paranoid and would bring it up accidentally. Aurora hated feeling that way about her mother but it was inevitable.
"I guess that's fine. I was counting on you guys to come since I have no idea how to take care of a newborn baby so" Aurora sighed and sat down feeling as if her body couldn't take anymore standing up. "I have to go. Just keep me updated"
"I will. Take care and I love you"
"I love you too. Tell mami I love her" once Aurora hung up the phone she attempted to get up from the couch again but it was getting harder for her to get up on her own with how big her stomach was getting.
She sat there for a while before she saw Klaus entering the compound. Someone she tended to avoid always. It wasn't like they couldn't stand each other but Aurora knew it was best to not entertain him knowing he could take it too far.
