TW: smut? Just a little.
Christmas had gone by Aurora was hitting the five month mark. After Christmas and being insanely tired she had made the decision to finish the semester online so she could stay more with Elijah in New Orleans.
Elijah didn't mind staying with her in mystic falls but she wanted a change of scenery she had enjoyed staying in new orleans before Christmas it gave her and Elijah time to be completely alone but not too alone since there was still Freya and klaus at times when they weren't out trying to save the city and when it was his turn to take hope as well.
The dynamic in the house had begun; they were starting to get used to each other and Aurora enjoyed the change of scenery. She knew eventually she would go back home and want to stay over there but that's what she wanted. She wanted two places to call home and she wanted that for her child as well.
Aurora had built a routine. The first few weeks were starting to get rough with the morning sickness and her body feeling drained so often but it was starting to go away usually now she would get nausea with certain things and she would need afternoon nap to keep going about her day.
Her and Freya had became close especially when they had Hope over because she would help. They would spend their mornings making breakfast and taking care of Hope or just talking to each other. They had grown very close especially when Freya began to get involved with Aurora's curse.
Freya understood she didn't want no one getting involved but she just couldn't stop. She had always been so curious of how a curse that had been around for so long had yet to be broken. She tried to find a way to break it behind Aurora's back.
"No more fruit?" Aurora stood right in front of Hope who was sitting on her high chair. Aurora's stomach was visible now enough to make it impossible to hide it with a sweater anymore.
Hope just put her hands up meaning she was done eating. Aurora took the plate off her high chair and placed it on the sink to start washing the things she had used to make breakfast.
"Oh Rory, we have people for that..." Freya had noticed how much Aurora liked doing things around the house to distract herself; that's what she would do before sitting down to do her schoolwork.
"I'm just washing the dishes..." Aurora chuckled. "Plus I wouldn't clean the entire house. That would be impossible"
"It would...and somehow Klaus still manages to make people get it done. He's insane" the blonde commented. She got up gathering a few things to help Aurora out.
"Insane is too little of a word for him..." Aurora sighed as she washed the dishes and looked up to watch Freya cleaning up around.
"Tell me about it..." Freya made a face before placing some things next to her on the sink. "I think I'll get her down for a nap she played all morning. I'm guessing you'll do homework all afternoon?"
