A/N: Yes she's gonna be the new girl in town too. I really don't feel like making her already know everyone. I always do that and I wanna try something new lolllll!!

"Ma, this town looks boring as hell". "Emilia! Language"! My father yells at me as he drives. "I just don't think this town is going to be like, for me". "Why's that? No clubs to sneak you in?" my brother laughs at me.

I hit him and our mother yelled at us to stop. I just looked out the window. Nothing. I haven't seen anyone on the streets or anything. At least this town was calm.

A week had passed and we were finally done unpacking. Well, at least I was. The last thing I had to put away was my last box of shoes. I saved that box for last. It had my running shoes. I hope this school has a decent cross country team. I put most of the shoes up. Except for the grey and black pair. I put them on my feet and laced them up.

I then began to go downstairs but my brother stopped me.

"Already going on a run?" "Yes! I can't stand being cooped up in here. I haven't started school yet and it's just making me anxious." "You think mom is going to let you out this late?" "No, which is why I'm not telling her. I'm just gonna be like thirty minutes" I tell him as I head out the door.

The run was everything I needed. Something about the rising body temperature mixed with the cool air from me running calms me just enough.

Around ten minutes into my run, I found a trail that went into some woods. It hadn't gotten too dark yet, so I went to explore it. I had some earbuds connected to my mp3 player. Nothing could divert my attention. But I felt something. I ignored it. The night was falling, which meant darkness was upon me. I needed to get home.

Except I had gotten lost. I had trailed away from trail. I tried my best to make my way back to the main roads. When something swiped me causing me to fall. I paid no attention to the pain on my hip and got up and ran as I screamed.

Flashing lights invaded my sight. I already couldn't hear anything besides my music, now I couldn't see. When my vision finally sorted out I saw a man in a police uniform.

"Hey hey, calm down ma'am. What did you see?" the man asked gently. "Huh? Oh, I didn't see anything." I say as I try and catch my breath. "Well what are you doing in the woods so late?" he asked sounding a little more stern. "Uh, I just moved here. I went on a run and just lost track of time... and that trail" I answered. "Uh huh" he says as if he didn't believe me. "Is there something out there?" I asked starting to get a little scared. The mans face relaxed. As if I had broken some sort of key. "No, there's nothing out there. Do you need a ride home? My son could take you- Stiles!" he yells waving someone over.

Stiles? Is that supposed to be his son? Why would he do that to him?

A young boy with a buzz cut approached.

"What's up dad?" he asked. "Don't even act like you weren't listening. Take the girl home" the man tells him. "Right" Stiles says as he approached a jeep.

I told him my address after I sat down in his car. "So, you're new? You're gonna love Beacon Hills. Nothing really happens here. That was my dad, the sheriff. Sheriff Stilinksi, I noticed he didn't introduce himself. Wait, I haven't either." he turns and glances at me as he drives, "I'm Stiles..." the boy just kept talking. It was kind of cute.

Once I got home, I quietly went to my room. Surprisingly I made it. I went to shower. As I took of my jacket, I realized there was a tear in it. It must've happened when I fell. Then I took my shirt off, I saw what appeared to be bite marks on me, but there was no blood. Just like, an indent I my skin. I assumed it was just a weirdly shaped rock and went on with my plan to shower.
