"Derek"! I yelled in search of him. I was beginning to give up hope to find him. I didn't understand why he was always so hard to find.

I turned around to run back home when I slammed into the one I was searching for.

"What"? He asked me all annoyed. "You keep trying to get Scott and I to join your pack. And well, I can't really speak for him. But I want to. I see you've wanted to do nothing but help us. I trust you. I think I've always trusted you. Now that there's a lot more danger, I want to join you".

A small smile formed on his face. Something I don't think that I'd seen before. "Good, I'm going to need your help." He tells me.

"Derek! Derek" an unfamiliar voice begins to yell from a distance. As the voice got closer I got to see it was a tall boy who wasn't bad to look at. "My dad. I think he's dead."

Why would this boy be telling Derek this?

"What did you do?" Derek asked him. "That's the thing, it wasn't me" the boy admitted.

Although the boy might be tall. The way he held himself wasn't. Like he was waiting for something. As though he had done something wrong.

"Who is this?" I asked Derek. "That is Isaac. He is also in my pack". "Was he like Scott? Did you find him before the Argents?"

"What is she talking about?" the boy apparently named Isaac asked. "She's talking about the hunters" Derek admitted.

So he knows about the hunters? That's good.

"He's like Scott. But not in the way that you think. I bit him." "What?!" I yelled. Why would Derek bite someone? There's too much going on right now to be worried about new werewolves.

"Don't over think it. I've told him everything. Just as I'll tell the others-" "Others? How many others". "As many as we need!" I took a step back.

He yelled at me and that made me want to back down. The authority in his voice made me not want to continue talking.

Derek pulled me by my arm to a separate room. "You can't tell Scott or Stiles. They're probably going to interfere with my plan. You need to try your hardest to distract them or keep them from messing with what I need to do." "How exactly would I do that?" I asked him. "I don't know just figure it out" he says as he flashed his bright red eyes.

I tried to just keep my mind off of everything. I mean, I don't really know what Derek's plan is. He won't necessarily tell me. But I won't be any help to stop it.

The next had approached and it was Lydia's first day back since the Formal. Poor thing.

"Are you ready for this"? Allison asked the glowing girl who had just rejoined society after a two day walk in the woods. "Please, it's not like my aunt's a serial killer" Lydia brainlessly responded as she strut into school.

The three of us walked in to stares upon stares. The two girls froze in place. Lydia brushed her hair out of her face and began to continue her strut unphased.

"Why would Derek choose Isaac?" "Peter told me that if the bite doesn't turn you, it could kill you. Maybe a teenager has a better chance of survival." Stiles told Scott.

I was listening from a table behind them.

Stiles then jumped and turned around to Danny who was sitting across from me.

"Danny where's Jackson?" "At the principal's office. Talking to your dad". "Why would he do that?" "Probably because he lives across the street from Isaac" Danny answered.
