"Gerard handled Matt? What does that even mean? What what about Jackson?" "Stiles, I don't have the answers to everything. And quite frankly, I don't even care about any of those questions you just asked me." "Then what do you care about?"
I sat on the edge of his bed and motioned for him to come join me, which he did.
"How are you? You watched your dad get beaten and you couldn't do anything. I want to know how you are?" "I'm great! Aside from not sleeping, jumpiness, the constant, overwhelming, crushing fear that something terrible is about to happen."
I took a deep breath. "I haven't been sleeping much either. It's like every time there's a moment of calmness-" "Something horrible is around the corner" Stiles finished for me.
He rested his head on my right shoulder. I held his head with my arm.
"You know what I can't seem to understand?" "Hmm"? "Why was Allison's mom trying to kill Scott? Even then, why is Allison mad at us for something her Mom started?" Stiles sat straight.
"I don't know. Scott didn't tell me too much about that night. I think they found out that they never really broke up. But, they're hunters. Maybe they don't really need a reason to hate you guys". "You guys?" I repeated. "You know what I meant". "Mmhm" I replied.
"You coming to the game tonight?" "I don't really know. I mean the only person I'd want to watch doesn't even get play time so..." "You know what, you can leave. I actually don't want you there anyways." "Right. In that case I'll make sure to scream as loud as I can in support of what was it? What did you say coach called you again? Oh yeah, Bilinksi!" "I told you that in confidence"! "And I don't care. But I'm gonna go home and go on a run before the game." "So you are coming?" "We'll see" I told Stiles as I left his room.
Just as I opened his front door I ran into his dad. "Oh, hey Mr. Stilinski" I greet. "Oh, hi Emilia. Could you uh, help me real quick? Also, call me Noah, Mr. Stilinski was my father." he asked referring to the groceries. "Sure" I said as I ran to the car and grabbed the last couple bags.
"This was the rest of them" I told him as I placed the bags on the counter. "Thank you. Uh, can I tell you something?" "Sure". "You can't tell Stiles I'm telling you this". "Okay...?" "I just wanted to tell you, that ever since you started hanging around the boys, Stiles hasn't really mentioned Lydia. I don't know you too well, but I can tell you're a good person. At least good for my son, Emilia". I couldn't help but smile. "Well, I really appreciate that Mr. uh, Noah".

"Emilia, before you go to that game, I just wanted to tell you that your mother and I are thinking about moving east." my dad tells me just as I was going to leave.
"What? Why? Nothing has happened here. Was there a murder? Sure. Not a supernatural one though. Dad, I really like it here." "The second anything happens that has to do with the supernatural, we're leaving." "I know, Dad. Luckily, I haven't seen anything suspicious, although, I wouldn't even know what to look for. Not- that I've been looking. I'm just gonna go to the game" I announced as I ran out of the door.

"Hey, Emilia, you can sit over here with us, if you'd like". "Okay, thank you Noah" I said with a smile. He was sitting next to Scott's mom, Melissa which I sat beside.
I'm assuming she and Scott hadn't talked much because I didn't really see her the night at the police station.
"Why is my son on the field?" Noah asked. "Because he's on the team" Melissa told him. "You're right" Sheriff started as he stood up, "My son is on the field!" he yelled excitedly.
"Whooo" I cheered with my hands cupping my mouth. I then looked at the rest of the field. Why was Scott not on the field?
Before I got the chance to run up to Scott, Lydia took a seat next to me. "Hey, Lydia! Your party was amazing". "My parties are always amazing". "Well, that was the first one that I'd been to." "Well, I'm glad you enjoyed it." "Well, excuse me real quick, I need to go talk to Scott".
I made my way down the bleachers to Scott.
"Why aren't you playing?" "I can't. My grades. Although I think it's part of Gerard's plan." Scott told me.
Isaac then came and sat beside Scott. "You came to help!" Scott said a little excitedly. "I came to win" Isaac told us as he continued gearing up for the game.
Boyd and Erica were on the run for a new pack. Isaac didn't want that. He trusts us. He trust Scott.
"Well, Gerard said I have until the end of the game to turn in Derek's pack or Jackson is gonna kill someone." "What do you mean, Jackson?" "He controls the Kanima now. Jackson is under Gerard's control." Scott tells me. "So what's the plan?"
"We need you to play" Isaac tells Scott. "Coach has a whole bench of players he could use before me". "Then Isaac, do what you need to do" I instructed. "Can you do it without sending anyone to the hospital?" Scott asked Isaac. "I can try" he responded as he put his helmet on and ran into the game.
I went back to sit with the parents and my leg started shaking. "Is everything okay Emilia? Is something happening?" Melissa asked me. "Something is happening isn't it. Oh my gosh. Is Scott going to be okay?" "We have a plan, Melissa. Just stay calm okay?" "You don't look very calm yourself". "Well, I haven't had a problem free night in a while".
I looked up at the field and saw the ball roll towards Stiles. He hesitated before he picked it up and started running with it towards the other team's goal.
"Shoot it!" Noah yelled. He did and everyone started cheering.
"Yesss! Whooo" I cheered.
It was like a newfound confidence formed within the boy with a buzz cut. Because not only did he make the next shot, he made the one after too. Which secured Beacon Hills the win.
The four of us in the bleachers, stood up and cheered for the boy. I heard someone's heard start racing. I looked at the ground by the end of the bleachers to see Scott.
I looked up at the scoreboard then onto the field to find Jackson. He was walking slowly to the middle of the field. The buzzer went off letting us know that the game had ended.
Nothing happened.
At first.
Screams filled the night. Everyone was screaming and running around. Players circled a player in the middle of the field.
"Jackson! What's happening to Jackson? Jackson!" Lydia yelled as she made her way to the middle of the field to where he was.
He hurt himself? Why would Gerard do that?
"Where's Stiles? Where's my son? Where the hell is my son?!" Sheriff yelled as he reached his way to all of the commotion. When I too, realized that his son, Stiles was no where to be found.
