"Did you hear that?" my brother asks as he storms into my room. "Yeah, that's Lydia" I responded upon hearing a loud scream.

I took out my phone to call Scott but it was no help. He wasn't answering. Neither was Stiles.

"I need to go find them". "No, Emilia, no. If they wanted your help they would call you first". "What do you mean? You think after what happened they wouldn't want it?"

Polo took a deep breath before answering. "You didn't even do anything though. Like we were the only ones that didn't fight. That's okay. I'm just saying, how much did you actually help them, ya know?"

I didn't want to admit it, but I was starting to think my brother was right. The lack of communication really leads me to believe that they don't want my help. Or maybe it's just that they don't need it. Possibly they just have things happen so fast to where they forget to update me.

Just when I was ready to believe Polo, my phone started to ring.

"Stiles?" "Lydia disappeared from the hospital. It was going to be just Scott and I looking for her, then Allison came to join. We ended up at the old Hale house". "And?" I asked. "Nothing. We haven't found her. I just wanted to call and tell you what was going on". "No, yeah. I appreciate it." "Okay, I'll pick you up for school tomorrow and explain more then, if we figure anything out". "Okay" I responded as I hung up.

"I told you Polo!" I yelled as I turned towards him. "I don't know, man, I just don't buy it". "Whatever, I'm going to bed."

"The liver?" "That's what I'm saying" I told Scott. The three of us were walking into the school when Stiles turned to Scott. "You're the test case for this, so we should be going over what happened to you." "What do you mean? Why not Emilia?" Scott stupidly asked.

"Because I wasn't bit. It's simply a gene for me." "And she wasn't acting strange when she first started to change" Stiles chimed in, "What were you drawn to?"

"Allison" Scott replied with a smile. "Nothing else" Stiles said through a sigh. "Nothing else mattered". "That's sad Scott. Truly". I told him as I patted his shoulder and walked into the school.

"We're going to that funeral". "What? I thought it was like only immediate family? Also, they know about you. Maybe me? I don't know. What I do know is that we can't go." "No, we aren't going to be right next to them. But we will watch. Stiles will meet us after his detention." Scott tells me.

Of course he has detention.

Scott and I hid behind a big tombstone and watched the Argents. We watched as a couple of people approached Allison and her parents.

I listened in on the older man. He apparently was Allison's grandfather.

"Maybe they're the non-hunting side of the family. There could be non hunting Argents" Stiles optimistically suggests. "I know what they are" Scott started, "They're reinforcements."

Seconds later Sheriff Stilinski grabbed the boys by the back of their shirts and lifted them up. I quickly turned around and stood.

"The two of you, unbelievable." he tells the boys, "And Emilia" he said in disbelief.

He took us to his car and sat us all squished in the back. He got a radio call for a 4-1-5 Adam. Which Stiles whispered to us was a disturbance in a car. Something hit the ambulance and their was blood everywhere. The three of us didn't hesitate to leave the car that the Sheriff so foolishly didn't lock us in to.

By the time we found the ambulance night had fallen.

"What the hell is Lydia doing?" Stiles asked us.

Although, how would we know if this was Lydia? There was no full moon that would make her turn. We still haven't even found her. Hell, as much as I hate to admit it, we don't even know if she's alive. I decided to keep those thoughts to myself. Not wanting to bring the mood any more down.

"I don't know" Scott replied. "What kept you from doing that? Was it Allison?" Stiles wondered aloud. "I hope so".

Scott caught a scent of the wreck to try and find Lydia. "Do do you want me to help you look?" I asked them. "Actually two bodies are better than one" Scott said. So we took off looking for the small girl.

We ran the woods until we found someone. We chased the body thinking it could've been Lydia. When we finally caught up to the running body, we learned it wasn't her. But another werewolf.

The other wolf tried to fight us and ultimately ran off. Scott chased it and I ran beside him. The other wolf ended up tripping a trip wire and as Scott went to go help him, as Derek appeared out of nowhere grabbing us.

Scott yelled to let us go to save the man. Derek shot it down telling us they were already here. But who were they?

We sat quietly and watched as the other wolf claimed to not be from around here. The poor man was in search of an alpha that he would never find.

The man that we had earlier learned was Allison's grandfather drew a sword and cut the man in half. I almost screamed but Derek put his hand over my mouth. I closed my eyes as Scott looked away.

Derek instructed us to look. "You see what they do? This is why you need me. Why we need each other. The only way to fight them is together". "Why are they doing this" I asked. "To declare war" Derek answered.
