"Scott, what's going on"? "Jackson knows. He knows and he's messing with Scott" Stiles answered for him. "What? How does he know?" "We don't know. Wait, you're still like, on talking terms with Allison right?" Stiles asked me as Scott left the table.

That question kind of stumped me. It made me realized I hadn't talked to Allison since we were locked in at school. Then she broke up with Scott. And I still hadn't reached out to her.

"I mean, there's no bad blood, why?" "We need you to get her necklace. The one with the um, family thing on it". "Why do you need it?" "Can you get it or no?" "Stiles, you don't have to be rude. calm down. I'll ask to hang out with her after school or something." "Oh my gosh! Thank you Lia, I could kiss you right now" he excitedly says.

Could kiss me? I don't know why he doesn't just go in for it.

"So are you gonna..." he asked as I sat at the table. "Oh, you want me to plan it now". "Preferably." he replied. "Fine" I said as I rolled my eyes and walked up to Allison.

She was on her way out of the cafeteria, so I followed her.

"Hey, Allison!" I yelled as I tried to stop her. "What's up?" "I feel like we talked since... well, you know what." "Yeah". "Well, I'm sorry for that. I was just wondering if you wanted to hang out after school today or something." "I was gonna go on a run, you can join me if you want?" she suggested. "Yeah, I'll just run home and change and meet you at yours?" "Sounds good, Emmy".

We were running in the woods and the scenery was getting a little too familiar.

"Do you always run this way" I asked Allison. "No, but I like going on new routes sometimes. Why?" "Oh, I just hadn't ran this way before" I lied.

We approached Derek's house that had been burned down. The house where we found the other half of the body.

"Allison, I think we should maybe turn around". "No, wait. It's abandoned. I want to go check it out." "I don't think that's a good idea." "No, just wait here. I'll be quick".

I couldn't quite understand why she would want to look in an abandoned building. Especially alone after everything we just went through.

Only a couple minutes had passed when I heard her scream. I ran inside to find her.

"Is- are you okay?" I asked, a little out of breath. I don't think I was heard.

"I want to not be scared. That night in the school, I felt utterly weak. Like I needed someone to come in and rescue me. I hate that feeling. I want to feel stronger than that. I want to feel powerful".

I stayed back. I didn't know who she was talking to and I didn't know if I wanted them to know me. The lady who Allison was talking to left going the opposite direction of me.

I saw a text on my phone from Stiles, telling me that Scott snuck into Allison's and got the necklace.

"Hey, you ready?" "Actually, I think the run was good, my mom needs my help with dinner". "Oh, okay. I'll see you at the game?" Allison asked me. "I don't know, depends on what we're having. I'll see you later though" I told her as I ran off.

After I left, I tried to call Scott, no answer. Then attempted to call Stiles. Again, no answer. I ran home to change, then rushed to the game as fast as I could.

"Hey, Allison. Have you seen Stiles?" I asked as I sat with her and her family. "No, why?" "Oh, he was supposed to start today. I haven't seen him since school got out." "Maybe he's just nervous". "Yeah, maybe..."

My leg was shaking. I didn't know where Stiles was. I still don't know what's going on with Derek. Is he dead? The alpha. There's too much going on.
