Four days after Sana woke up
Sana entered the big house, trying to remember even just the tiniest detail. To her, it was still as if she was seeing it for the first time. The only person she remembered is her mom. Her mom told her that she got remarried to Yicheng, her stepdad and that they have been living with him in his house since.
Walking in the house, Sana couldn't help but get amazed, once again, about how spacious it was. She ran up to the first floor and came across a door. She opened it slowly, hoping she wouldn't disturb anyone who might be in there. But there was no one in the room. The room itself was dark and seemed abandoned. The bed was messy, drawers open and empty, same as the big closet next to the wall. The wall was covered with half torn posters of racing cars, bands and a calendar that was showing July. Three days were crossed with a red marker and the fourth day was circled. The rest of the days were scribbled all over, as if with fury. Rage.
Sana walked out of this room and headed to the one next to it. This one was brighter, light was coming in from the balcony. The closet was full of clothes and dresses, Sana chuckled seeing some of them still had the price tags on. Posters of cars covered the walls of this room as well but it was nothing like the previous room. This one was happier. The other one seemed, to Sana, depressing.
She put her bags down on the bed of the second room and climbed down the stairs to find her mom. She was sitting at a table outside in the garden, reading a book. The garden was huge and full of different kind of trees and bushes. Sana wondered how many memories she must have had in this garden. Of course though, she couldn't remember anything.
And then there was the girl in the hospital. A tall girl, brunette, with green eyes. She seemed to know Sana but Sana couldn't remember who she was, how she knew her, anything. She tried asking her mom about the beautiful tall girl but she said that she didn't know her either. Sana never saw her again from that day.
"Mom?"
Mrs. Minatozaki looked up from the book she was reading and smiled seeing her daughter.
"Yes dear? Have you found your room?"
"Well, I can't quite remember which one it is." Sana chuckled as she sat down in another chair. "I put my stuff in the one with the balcony. The other one seemed kind of sad."
"Yes, the one with the balcony is yours dear."
"And whose is the other one?" Sana asked curiously.
Her mom didn't reply immediately. She looked hesitant at first but she finally answered. "It is the guest room. We had a guest a few days ago. They left before you woke up.". Sana simply nodded.

"Yicheng. I need to talk to you." Mrs. Minatozaki said as she entered their bedroom. Mr. Chou was laying in their bed, reading glasses on and eyes on the newspaper.
"Yes dear?"
Mrs. Minatozaki sat on the bed next to him and he took off his glasses and put the newspaper on the nightstand.
"Sana asked."
"About her?"
"About her room. I didn't tell her it belonged to her stepsister. I think it is best that she forgot about her."
Mr. Chou shook his head. "It is indeed. Now that she left and Sana doesn't remember, their relationship is over. There is no need of worrying over our reputation. Our companies."
"So... we will never tell her?"
"No. We won't. Unless she remembers herself."
"And what if she does?"
Mr. Chou kissed his wife's forehead and turned the lights off. "Let's hope she never will."
