Tzuyu's POV

"Guys! You came!" we saw Mina drag Chaeyoung behind her who sighed in relief when she saw me.

"Thank god, Tzuyu save me."

"Excuse me?" Mina crossed her arms in front of her chest.

"Yeah baby?" Chaeyoung winked knowingly at me and looked at Mina. The Japanese pouted.

"Don't pout Minari. You look like an actual penguin." Chaeyoung commented making Mina and us laugh. Mina pecked her girlfriend's cheek and took Sana's hand, removing it from mine. Disappointed.

"Let's go meet the other first-years Sana!" she said and dragged Sana away with her. I smiled unconsciously.

"So? How are things going?" Chaeyoung handed me a drink. I sighed.

"She still hasn't remembered me."

Chaeyoung scoffed. "Well, obviously. If she had, you would be in the streets cheering with a megaphone."

I chuckled and looked at Sana and Mina's direction. They were casually talking with other first-years. Sana was always friendly and sociable anyway so it didn't seem weird when more and more students came to talk with her. She was also gorgeous which made it no surprise seeing most of the students talking to her were guys.

"Tzuyu! Chaeng!"

"Oh, hey Jimin!" Chaeyoung greeted him with a high five. Jimin took a sip off his glass and pointed at Sana and Mina.

"Here with your girls I guess?"

I choked at how casually he said it. Yeah, I've reffered to Sana as 'my girl' as well, but when she still knew me.

"My girl and her soon-to-be." Chaeyoung nudged me.

"Are things going any better between the two of you?"

"I don't know. It's weird how, sometimes it feels as if she remembers and then, she says or does something that means she actually doesn't." I sighed. I hope she'll remember me soon. I really want her to.

But then again, what if it's better without her remembering? She lives with a family that loves her, put aside the fact that they've been lying to her for two years, and, if I was her, I'm not sure I would like to remember what happened with her father when she was fifteen. In one way, her not remembering was convenient. In the other, it was painful.

"Cub! Come here!" Mina called Chaeyoung who went to her, leaving me and Jimin alone.

"Tzuyu, leave."

I turned to him startled. "What?"

"Can you just, take Sana and leave?"

"Why would I do that?"

Jimin sighed, looking around before turning to me again, this time with a worried look on his face.

"Jimin, what the hell are you talking about?"

"Hey, Park! I need to talk to you!" a guy appeared behind Jimin, not letting him tell me the rest of what he wanted.

"Can you please just leave?" he muttered before turning to his friend and putting on a wide smile. That was weird. That was really weird. I looked around searching for Sana. I found her next to the pool, talking with a tall muscular guy with brown hair. I knew him from my class, his name was Namjoon. I put my drink down and made my way through the crowd to Sana.

"Chou Tzuyu?"

I stopped at the hearing of my name. Many students turned to look at me as well.

"It's the basketball captain!" one said. Students started cheering and taking their phones out.

"Can I have a picture?"

"Just an autograph is enough! I think!"

"I'm gonna tattoo your name next week!"

"Date me!"

When did I even get so popular among the first-years? They kept coming my way and I kept politely pushing them away telling them that it's not the right time.

A scream was heard and then a splash. Everyone turned to the pool, including me. Someone had been pushed in, someone wearing a pink sleeveless crop top. Sana.

I pushed everyone out of my way, no longer caring if I was polite or not, and jumped in the pool after removing my black and gold jacket hurriedly. I quickly spotted Sana and she spotted me. I held her hand and swam back up to the surface. She let out a heavy breath and I allowed her to grip onto my arm for support as we swam to the side. I got out first and then knelt down to pull Sana out of the pool as well while every single student had their phone out, taking a video of us.

I patted Sana's back as she coughed out some water and noticed she was shaking. I quickly picked my varsity jacket from the ground and put it around her shoulders, making a several amount of students gasp and whistle.

"If any of you think this is funny, you better say it now." I told the students coldly who stopped whatever they were doing and looked at me. "And whoever pushed her in, congratulations. You just found yourself on the top of my priority list. Trust me, you don't want to be on my priority list." I added, my voice having a threatening tone which scared most of the students.

"Tzu-Tz-Tzuyu."

I turned around to Sana who was clasping my jacket tightly around her shoulders, still trembling. I put my hand over her shoulders. "C'mon, let's go."

We were walking in the hallway, away from all the students when Sana stopped walking.

"Tz-Tzuyu, I-"

"Shh, I'll get you to my car, you're trembling." I told her and urged her to walk but she almost tripped. I caught her hand and led her slowly along the hallway. This is going to take too long.

"Sana, I want you to put your hands around my neck." I stopped her and stood in front of her.

"Wh-what?"

I took her hands and wrapped them around my neck then gently lifted her in bridal style. She wasn't heavy. Even if she was, I wouldn't have trouble carrying her. I made my pace faster and soon, I was at my car. I opened the backseat door and slowly let her down, still shivering. Should I sit with her? Normally I would but she still didn't remember me. And jumping in the pool to get her out was already kind of obvious.

"Will you- Will you stay with me?" she asked softly and tapped at the spot next to her. I smiled, trying not to show how happy I was that she asked, and sat next to her, closing the door.

Sana wrapped herself next to me, leaning her head on my shoulder. Seeing that she was still trembling and clenching on the jacket, I put my one arm around her, rubbing her shoulder. Friction creates heat they say. Soon, she had wrapped her arm tightly around my waist, resting her head on my chest. Her breathing became steady and I realized she had fallen asleep. I gently kissed the top of her head.

"Always." I whispered and drifted off to sleep.
