Sana's POV

My eyes widened in shock. I looked at the calendar. Tzuyu was right, it was my birthday today! I was touched seeing that she sent the message exactly at 0:00, December 29. I also blushed a lot.

"Sana, why are you red? Are you sick?" my mom came and put a hand over my forehead. I chuckled and pushed it away.

"No, I'm fine!" I whined. My dad looked up from his newspaper lightly and flashed a smile at me and mom.

"Yicheng..." my mom eyed my dad. He looked at her with an innocent look on his face.

"Yes honey?"

"What day is it today?"

My dad acted as if he was thinking. I laughed. I knew where my mom was getting.

"Monday." he said.

"The date dear."

"29. Why, is something today?" my dad winked at me. My mom threw her hands at him.

"Yicheng!"

"Kidding, kidding! Happy birthday Sana dear! Have you planned anything for today?" he asked and folded the newspaper. My mom smiled and pulled a chair out and sat next to him.

"I haven't thought of anything." I shrugged. I could always go out with Mina and Momo. Dahyun is a really good friend of Chaeyoung and Tzuyu so she and Momo hung out with us a few times. Now, Momo and Mina are my two best friends.

My phone buzzed again. I smiled unconsciously.

"Sana? Who are you talking to?" my mom got up from the chair and tried peeking at my phone. I quickly hid it from her.

"Mom!" my cheeks turned red once more.

"Come on Sana!" she pouted. I smiled at her childish action.

"Pouting doesn't suit you. And I'm simply talking to the girl from the pool. She was asking me if I wanted to hang out with her today since it's my birthday."

My mom squealed happily and clapped her hands like a six year old. "Then what are you waiting for? Say yes!"

"Mom!" I blushed again and hid my face between my hands. "Of course and I'll say yes." I mumbled after a while.

20 Minutes Later

The doorbell rang twice. I knew it was Tzuyu without having to run down and open the door. I don't know why I was so excited.

"Just a sec!" I shouted since I was still applying one final touch of makeup. At least my parents had left so no one would be bothering Tzuyu while she waited. I remember her message asking me if my parents were home. I guess she was just nervous. And cute.

I quickly took my phone along with some money and rushed down to the door. I almost tripped at the stairs, due to my extreme clumsiness. I'm really grateful I didn't fall this time.
