Sana's POV

"...And then, Jeongyeon came and gave him a kick on the sensitive spot, you know. It was awesome." I chuckled and squeezed Tzuyu's hand harder.

It's already been two days ever since my supposed flight to Japan but Tzuyu hasn't woken up yet. I've spent both yesterday and today on the chair next to Tzuyu's bed in her room in the hospital, when I'm not attending my university classes.

I threw a glance at Tzuyu. Her breathing was steady and so were her vitals, seeing that the doctors had managed to take the bullet out. There were times when her arms would twitch, tricking me into thinking she was awake. My hopes would get high, only to fall back low again when I realized she was not.

In the meantime, Mr. Chou had informed all his bodyguards and his friends in high spots about the attack at the airport. The authorities have begun their search of the blonde guy in the black mask who shot Tzuyu, even though I know who he is.

I swear, I've never hated someone as much as I hate Taehyung now.

"I miss you." I mumbled with a sad chuckle and looked at Tzuyu. Even unconscious like that, her beauty was ethereal.

"You know, I think your dad has gotten used to us. First, he let me stay, second he allowed me to visit and he's sent people looking everywhere for Taehyung. They're going to get him and, I know you're looking forward to beating the guy, but I would appreciate it if you allowed me to land the first punch." I chuckled. Then, I took a deep breath.

"Can you squeeze my hand if you're listening?" I asked, tears threatening to fall down my eyes. I knew she wasn't listening. She wasn't going to move at all, she couldn't. I lowered my head, my forehead resting on Tzuyu's forearm.

"Please wake up." I whispered while suppressing a sniffle. I kissed the back of her hand and lifted my head to look at Tzuyu's peaceful face. A sad smile escaped my lips as I stroked Tzuyu's cheek gently.

"Sana? We need to get going." my mom's voice came from the door outside Tzuyu's room. I hurriedly wiped my teary eyes on the back of my hand and nodded at my mom.

"See you tomorrow." I bent over and pecked Tzuyu's forehead with another smile. For a moment, I thought I saw Tzuyu flash a dimple at me but I refused to get my hopes up again.

So I turned my back and made my way to the door. I put my hand on the handle, twisted it-

"Bye Sana."

I chuckled. "Bye. Wait, what!?" I spun around and my eyes landed on Tzuyu immediately. Nothing. She was the same way I left her. Unconscious.

"Great, now I'm hearing voices." I murmured.

"Won't be the first time."

I turned around again but Tzuyu simply lay motionless on the bed. "You're frustrating." I huffed, not sure to who I was referring. Probably the stupid voices in my head.

"You love this frustrating girl though."

Okay, now I can't be hearing things. I've told Tzuyu this exact thing two years ago when we were bickering about something.

"I swear, if you're awake and you're making me think I'm delusional, I'm gonna finish the job the bullet didn't." I said as I walked closer to Tzuyu's bed and sat on my usual chair next to her. My eyes remained fixed on Tzuyu's face, waiting for any sign that she was awake.

"Sana? Where are you?"

"Just a sec mom!"

I turned to Tzuyu once more. Her face was expressionless. Until...

"I'm that pretty aren't I?"

My eyes widened when Tzuyu opened one of her eyes and grinned at me. I clamped a hand over my mouth, intending to muffle the sound of my gasp.

"Tz-Tzuyu?"

"What? It's not like I was dead." Tzuyu shrugged. She shrugged.

"You scared me damn you!" I slapped her arm while tears flooded my eyes almost immediately. Tzuyu chuckled with a shake of her head. Her entire face changed however when she glimpsed at me.

"Sana? Baby, what's wrong?" she asked and laced my fingers with her own. I lowered my head, not wanting her to see me cry. Again.

"I was afraid." I murmured.

"Hey. Come here." Tzuyu whispered and moved further on her bed, leaving some free space for me. I sniffled lightly as I removed my shoes ungracefully and buried my head on Tzuyu's chest, my arms wrapped tightly around her waist. Tzuyu kissed the top of my head softly, her hand stroking my hair.

"I understood how you felt when I forgot about you and I'm really sorry I did-"

"Sana, that wasn't your fault-"

"No, but I could have tried harder! I could have searched like I did a few days ago! I could have tried harder to remember, to not forget-" a sob escaped from my mouth, preventing me from finishing.

"Shh, c'mon, calm down. That was two years ago, okay? Don't think about that." Tzuyu said, hugging me closer to her.

"I thought I'd lose you again." I mumbled, my voice cracking at the end.

"Hey, that's bullshit. Where'd my ball of sunshine go?" Tzuyu chuckled, making me do the same.

"Sana? Sana- Ah! Tzuyu, you're awake!" my mom exclaimed, making both me and Tzuyu laugh. "As much as it pains me to say it, Sana dear, we need to go."

"I know." I replied. I tried to get up but Tzuyu held me firmly pressed against her.

"Stay." she whispered pleadingly. I was shocked, having never heard Tzuyu talk like that before. I glanced at my mom, my eyes practically begging her to let me stay. She smiled and with a nod of her head I understood she allowed me to.

"I'll stay." I said with a kiss on Tzuyu's cheek.

"Thank you."

"Question though. Is this allowed?"

Tzuyu chuckled. "When has that stopped you?"

"Probably never did and never will."

"And if it's not allowed, don't worry. I'll bribe the doctors." Tzuyu said with a tone that helped me imagine the smirk on her lips.

"Of course you will."

"I love you."

My breath hitched at the sudden confession. It still had me blushing though. I snuggled my face over Tzuyu's chest, her beating heart racing against my ears.

"I love you more."
