Sana's POV

"Good for you." Tzuyu said and her eyelids fluttered shut. Her hands on my shoulders suddenly started to feel too heavy and it looked as if she was leaning towards me. But she actually collapsed right in front of me, her head on my chest.

"Tzuyu? Tzuyu what the hell!?" I exclaimed, trying hard to keep myself calm. I put my arms around her, attempting to shake her, make her get up when I noticed it.

A dark red stain on Tzuyu's shirt, which was becoming bigger and bigger as the seconds flew by. The moments before Tzuyu collapsed in front of me replayed themselves in my mind.

The second gunshot was heard and Tzuyu must have seen something that scared her because she pulled me closer to her and the ground. Then, a third gunshot and a hiss of pain from Tzuyu's mouth. The pieces started coming together.

"Tzuyu! Tzuyu!" I shook her and repositioned her so I could see her face. Her eyes were closed and her mouth half open but I was too shocked to try and see if she was breathing or not. All I knew was that she was slightly pale. Tzuyu is never pale.

"Help! Someone please, help!" I cried, no longer attempting to hold my tears back as I hugged Tzuyu's body closer to mine, rocking back and forth.

"Stay with me Tzu, stay with me." I whispered as I started to gently stroke Tzuyu's cheek. Tzuyu's warmth, I didn't want to think about it, but I felt as if it was slowly fading.

"Help! Mr. Chou, please, get someone!" I shouted when I saw him standing somewhat closer to me and Tzuyu. His eyes widened when they landed on the small blood pool that had now started to form on the airport's marble floor under Tzuyu's body. He turned around, signaling for his bodyguards to call for help.

At the same time, I noticed a figure walking hurriedly towards the exit of the airport. He wore all black clothes and his blonde hair were falling over his forehead in messy curls. I also noticed that he wore a black mask that covered half of his face. My eyes met his for a while and I felt some sort of familiarity under his gaze. The wrinkles that formed under his eyes helped me realize that he was smiling, more like grinning at me before he exited the airport with a wink.

"Miss, let go of her."

I snapped back to the reality in front of me, the medics that were carrying a stretcher and the two that were kneeling next to me and Tzuyu. My grip on Tzuyu however tightened.

"Sana, you need to let her go, they must take her to the hospital as soon as possible." Mr. Chou said with a hand on my shoulder.

"B-but, I don't want to leave her-"

"Shh, we'll go visit her together. Just let them take her, she's lost a lot of blood already."

Wait. So that meant-

"I'm not going to Japan?"

"No Sana dear. Tzuyu would want you to be here when she wakes up."

Yes she would. She will wake up and she will need me to be there. I kissed her forehead softly and released her from my grip. The medics took her away on the stretcher and I got up just in time to see them put her in an ambulance and drive away. I suddenly felt a strong arm around my shoulders and turned my head to my side.

"She'll be okay. Tzuyu is stronger than you think." Mr. Chou murmured. I smiled and allowed myself to lean on him.

"I know."

3rd Person's POV

At first, he thought two warning shots were too much. He thought they would have realized and ran away, he thought the airport's security would have reached him. But they didn't realize and he didn't care about the security. They gave him just enough time to aim the third shot so that it would be as slow and painful as possible. Only it didn't find its original target.

He swore at himself multiple times for not predicting the action. He should have known that she would try everything to protect her but his judgement was too clouded. Yes, he had volunteered for the job, but only because he wanted to show them who's the boss.

As he parked the car just a few feet from the house, he took a look at the gun. The Beretta M9 he used to fire at Sana and Tzuyu, hopefully preventing the former from flying to Japan. The gun felt familiar in his hand, being a gift from his father for his 16th birthday. His father, leader of a street gang, just like him, who died tragically in a 'car accident'.

He stashed the gun in the drawer in front of the shotgun seat and walked to the house, hands tucked in the pockets of his pants. He stopped for a while, eyes scanning the door behind which his friends waited for him. Friends, that's what he wanted to think them like, something that became impossible with everyday that passed. Everyday when he gave them different orders each, used them to do his bidding. And, for some peculiar reason, none of this made him feel guilty.

"There you are! How did it go?" Jungkook asked him as soon as he entered the house and settled on the couch.

"Not as well as we would have liked." he answered with a finger pressed against his temple. Namjoon furrowed his eyebrows as he leaned forward.

"What do you mean Tae? You said you'd go because you wanted to take care of it yourself."

"And I did take care of it. Just not the way we planned." Taehyung replied, crossing an ankle over his knee. "I hit Tzuyu, not Sana."

The guys looked at each other before bursting into laughter.

"We were aiming Sana because you say she's weaker. It's way better if you hit Tzuyu who is supposed to be the strong one!" Suga said, and all the others continued laughing.

"Now that Tzuyu is down, Sana will soon crumble. She's at her most vulnerable now, and that's when we'll strike." Jungkook stated. "Well done Tae. Now we only need to plan how to finish what we started two years ago."
