Tzuyu's POV
"Woah, easy Tzu."
I chuckled as I got off the car, Sana's grip on my arm strong for support.
"Baby, I can walk."
"Stop being stubborn, you need help." she argued, and that only made me smile more. It's been two weeks since I was shot and today they let me out with a bandage and lots of rest. Sana, however, has been a bit too much.
"Sana, take Tzuyu to her room." Sana's mom said as Sana supposedly helped me up the stairs.
"Mom, Tzuyu's room has been empty for two years! She can't stay there!" she replied with a wink towards my direction. I fought back my smile.
"I see what you're doing there, Minatozaki." I whispered in Sana's ear who slapped my arm playfully.
"Okay. She'll stay with you until we get her room ready."
"Really? Thanks mom!" Sana exclaimed and practically dragged me up to her room. It hasn't been a long time since I last came at Sana's room, considering the fact that I thought she'd fly away and I sneaked in.
"So, Tzuyu, you'll sleep on the floor."
What Sana said made me spin my head in her direction. "You're kidding right?"
Sana nodded but a sly smile crept up her lips. I chuckled and threw myself down on the bed. "Argh, it's been so long since I rested on a normal bed."
"The hospital bed isn't a normal bed?" Sana raised her eyebrow as she fixed some stuff in her closet.
"No. Too many wires and nurses coming in and out. It's annoying." I shook my head and folded my hands behind my head as a pillow. Sana closed the closet and stood on the side of the bed, looking down at me.
"What?"
I didn't really have much time to ask anything else because Sana jumped on the bed next to me with a loud giggle. She wrapped an arm around my waist and snuggled closer to me.
"It's so good to have you back Tzu." she mumbled.
"Don't act like you didn't hide in my hospital room until all the nurses left." I replied with a chuckle as I slid an arm around Sana's shoulders and pulled her closer.
"It's not the same as home." she chuckled.
"Really? Because for me wherever you are feels like home."
Sana giggled and buried her face on the crook of my neck. "Your lines are so cheesy Tzuyu."
"They make you blush though, don't they?"
Sana laughed again. "Stop it. I'm tired."
"From what?"
"Carrying you. You're heavy. How much have you been eating in the hospital?"
I chuckled and ruffled Sana's hair. "Remember who kept telling me that I needed to eat?"
Sana shook her head. "No. Do I know them?"
"I think so. Short, typical blonde-"
Sana raised her head, eyes meeting mine. "Typical blonde meaning what?"
I shrugged. "You know, dumb and stuff-"
"Hey, I'm not dumb! That's a stereotype!" Sana exclaimed.
"Hm, funny thing you thought I was talking about you."
She chuckled and I did the same. "Of course you're talking about me dummy. You just forgot to mention breathtakingly beautiful and incredibly cute."
I kissed the top of Sana's head with a laugh. "Not sure about that."
