Both of them ran upstairs, laughing as they stepped outside into fresh air for the first time in eighty six days. "Yes!" Violet yelled, breathing in the cool misty air. She still walked with the slightest limp, not nearly as bad as how it was a few months ago.

"Come on, this way!" Murphy yelled, pointing to towards the hills as a drone flew overhead, and then past them. "It's that drone again!"

Violet did her best to keep up with Murphy, tripping over a branch as he slowed down. "You okay?"
"I'm okay, my leg hurts." She nodded.
He didn't hesitate to pick her up, holding her on his hip like he used to, and running to keep up with the drone. After a while, and climbing a steep hill, the drone slowed down. He panted as he stood Violet back up on her feet. "Murphy!" "H-hang on, let me catch my breath. That drones fast." "Murphy, look!" She grabbed his arm, pointing to something out of a picture book Violet had read.

"What the hell?" Murphy exhaled, a large white mansion in front of them a hundred yards away. It was the only standing building they'd seen outside of pictures on the Ark. Violet ran ahead of him, forcing him to run to keep up with her, "Come on, Murphy!"

She pushed the glass framed doors open, as Murphy practically collapsed on the floor inside, and Violet dropped next to him, out of breath and sore.

Murphy coughed, dragging himself back up as Violet froze, staring at a figure in the distance.

"Jaha?"
