A/N: Naiiyak aqq. Malapit na talaga sha mataposs. HUHUHU!
MY LIPS automatically formed a smile when I saw my son enter my office with a big grin on his face.
"You're always grinning these days. Hindi ako sanay. I always like to see you with a serious face," pabiro kong sambit sa kaniya. "Excited to see Daddy?" I asked, which made his grin bigger.
He nodded his head. "Yes po, Papá! Sir K told me that he'd bring me to Philippine Arena, where their group is practicing for their upcoming comeback po! I'm so excited!" Napahagikgik siya sa huli.
I laughed at his reaction. "Come here." I picked him up and settled him into my lap. "I want to ask you something, anak..."
Inosente siyang tumitig sa akin. "What is it po, Papá? Ano pong tatanong niyo po?"
I tilted my head. "Why... aren't you calling Knight, Daddy? Why keep calling him Sir K instead?"
Nakita kong matigilan siya sa tanong ko. I heard him sighed and was almost ready to answer when someone suddenly broke into my office.
It was my son's father, Knight Andrius.
"Hmm, am I disturbing both of you? I can wait outside--"
"No need, Knight. We're done talking. I'm just waiting for Knick Liam to answer my question."
"Oh, 'K. I'll wait... here." He settled himself on the side of the door while waiting for our son.
"Daddy's here," I whispered in Knick Liam's ear. "Now, answer my question first before you two leave. Why aren't you calling Knight, daddy? Why do you keep calling him, Sir K, instead?" Pag-uulit ko sa tanong ko.
He sighed and did the bombastic side eyes.
He sighed after he whispered.
I shook my head softly. "Don't be shy... he will not be mad at you. I'm certain he'll be happy if you call him Daddy..." I replied with a low, airy voice while playing with his hair.
He heaved a deep breath. "Pero, Papa... ayaw ko po... hiya po ako..."
I sighed. "Well, then, when will you call him, Daddy?"
"But not now--not today po," he insisted before hugging me tight to whisper in my ear properly. "I've... actually heard enough from, Tito Cress po, Papá... I've heard enough about your past po..."
Ako naman ang natigilan. "W-What do you mean?" I asked. "What did Tito Cress told you about our past?"
Now, what did he told to my son?!
He shook his head. "Sa amin na lang po 'yon." He smiled at me before he turned serious. "I just want to say po Papá, na proud po ako sa inyo... sa lahat po ng pinagdaanan niyo before, napa-proud po ako sa inyo, Papá... sana po ay hindi kayo nag-sisi sa mga nangyari po dati..."
