Meerab and Zoya got down from the 🚗, and entered inside the setup which was made for the Mehndi function,

Everything was vibrant with different hues of pink, white, yellow, green long clothes tied knots into each other to make a cover on top, the whole courtyard decorated with a mix of genda phool , jasmine and different colours of  rare vibrant flower too,to make the set up more colourful as colours represent happiness and festive mood and brings instant smile to people's face,different mouth watering food stalls were also set up,

Zoya's eyes were twinkling seeing all these decorations,she didn't know that Mehndi functions looked like this,there was a jhoola kept in front of the centre stage on which Marium sat ,one friend of her was sitting beside her ,small height rectangular shape, comfortable sofa was placed with lots of colourful cushions to make people comfortable who sat on it, on both sides of the jhoola ,where Marium's other bridesmaids were sitting,some of them were getting mehndi applied on their hands ,while some were just gossiping and eating,

One Mehndi Vali who seems to be the head and expert among all the other mehndivalis was applying mehndi to Marium with quick hands,

Dhol nagare vale were also dancing at the side keeping the atmosphere more jovial, everyone was looking so happy enjoying themselves Meerab missed all this too. She doesn't remember the last time when she attended such functions and felt the jovial atmosphere around her ,

Salma begum saw Meerab and Zoya standing at the threshold,she went to them with a broad smile, Meerab came out of her thoughts when she saw her coming towards them,she smiled back at her,

Salma hugged Meerab warmly then,she caressed Zoya's cheeks too who was grinning and pecked on her forehead and then said to Meerab,

Salma: Mashallah kitne pyare lag rahi ho dono Maa Beti , kisi ki nazar na lag jaye (and then proceeded to put her kajal spot behind Meerab and Zoya's ear )

Meerab was getting this motherly love after so long that her eyes became little wet but she controlled her feelings,

Salma:Itni der kyu kardi aane mein,

Meerab:Vo aunty Ghar par bhi tayaari chal rhi hai nikaah ki ..toh kaam mein pata hi nhi chala 😅,

Salma:Thik hai koi baat nhi aao ander Marium se milo 😊,

Meerab:Jee chale 😊, taking Zoya along with her she walked towards Marium,

Marium saw them and smiled,she was getting her Mehndi applied so she couldn't move,her friend moved from her place making the place vacant for Meerab to sit beside Marium,

Salma: Tumlog baatein Karo mein aati hoon,and she went to receive some other relative,

Meerab: Marium bohot achi dikh rahi ho,aur khush bhi 😄,she teased her,

Marium:Aapki jitni acchi toh kabhi nahi lag sakti,mein aapse uss din bhi yeh kehne vali thi par baat hi nhi ho payi humari, aap uss din bhi bohot pyari lag rhi thi Meerab bhabhi,Asher Bhai is so lucky, he has such a beautiful wife,

Meerab just smiled at her,

Marium looking at Zoya,

Marium: Zoya kaise ho, mujhse gale nhi milogi?

Zoya on hearing this, enveloped her arms around Marium's neck and hugged her lightly, while still sitting on her mother's lap, after the hug she asked Marium,
