Chapter 5

*Jane aka my bestie!

Jane's POV

When I wake I find Nicole a sleep.... Not surprising! She sleeps a lot! Well late into the day and sleeps heavy. One time I tried to wake her and she slapped me with her arm and was still asleep! Well I am pretty friendly so I decided to go meet some people! I walk outside to find a boy with glasses. He's kind of cute...
"Hi." I said and I smiled at him.
"Hello, I'm Patrick. What's your name?"
"Jane. Patrick's a nice name. I just got here yesterday with my best friend and her annoying twin brother."
"That explains why I don't recognize you. At first I thought you came to steal all our cookies." He replied, smirking.
"Yes, I came to steal your cookies! I am the cookie monster! Nom, nom,nom!" I said in a low voice and he laughs at me.
"Oh no! I'm scared!" Now I start laughing.
"Is there really cookies here?"
"No I so wish!" I laugh lightly.
"I'm going to go look for my best friend... Well not look. She is probably where I left her in bed! Do not wake the girl up unless you want to lose an eye!"
"Good to know! Bye!"
"Peace out!" I said to him walking away.
I walk in to the prison when I run into a brick wall... Well, a person. All I see is chest. I look up to see Carl. I give him a smile. He looks hot today but I know Nicole likes him and our friendship is way better than any guy! He looks at me for a second, looking like he wants to ask me something.
"Hey Carl! Need anything?"
"Uh I am looking for someone, I'm going to introduce him to Junior."
"Who?"
"Uh..... Well, his name is Patrick. Have you met him yet?"
"Yeah! Actually I just did. He is out side in the field."
"Thanks."
"No problem. Sorry for running into you."
"It's cool," he said walking away.
I sigh. I walk up to my cell to see Nicole still sleeping. I notice her hair is not in her usal bun but down. It is boofy and covers her face. I laugh and walk away. I decided I would eat something since my tummy just started talking to me. After going out side I meat Carol and she gives me some meat.
"What's this?"
"Deer meat. Daryl got it. Would you like to try some squirrel?"
I laugh nervously "I'm good! Thanks though."
"Anytime sweety." She gives me a smile.
I walk away to a table and ate. The food was delicious. Better than what we have been eating. Canned food. We ate it every day. Three times. Well me and Junior any way. We had to keep put strength up. We always had plenty of food. Nicole never could eat lots. Neither could I. We both are about the same by the end of the day. Nicole ate around noon then stayed up for first watch and ate something. Junior and I usually ate like a normal person. Nicole has never been normal though. She is unusual. But that keeps her happy! Junior always ate the most Out of all of us. He a boy and is taller so.

Patrick's POV

Jane just left. She is so beautiful! I like her! Maybe I should ask her out. Wait does she like me. I am lost in my thoughts and ran into someone. It's a girl I can tell by the dirty blonde hair in a bun. She is a lot smaller than me. Then I hear her speak right as I am about to.
"I am so sorry! I was just looking for my sister."
"Sister?"
"Well not blood related. We're besties!"
" ah. Cool?"
" uggg she was gone when I woke up. I wish she woke me up. She saids and I quote 'its more dangerous waking you up than going in a room that has walkers! They could lose and eye at least with the walkers you got a chance!' But Jane overreacts!"
"Jane.... Oh you must be Nicole!"
"Yes the one and only! So how do you know my name?"
"Jane..."
"Oh! Oops! I didn't put two and two together! Of course you know her! She's so friendly! Wait are you her friend? Do you like her? Oh my gosh tell me!" Nicole said in one breath! Wow she could talk!
"Uh...."
"Tell me! I can force it put of you!" She said then took my arm and twisted it behind my back.
"Yes! Now let go of me woman! You are hurting me!"She let go.
"Oh my gosh! You guys are going to have kids and I can be their aunt/god mother! Oh wait! Who will be there god father?" I look at her as if she had three heads. Again she said all that in a single breath.
"Woh, woh, woh! Hold on a minute! I am to young for that! I have to ask her out first!"
"Go! Now! Or do I have to force you?" As soon as she said that I was gone.

Jane's POV

I see Patrick walking towards me. I smile and he return with one.
"Hey Patrick! What's up?"
"Hey Jane. I just met Nicole. She can really talk!"
"Hey thats my not blood sister you are talking about! Well yeah, she's shy at first but when you get her going. Woo!" I said smiling bigger, laughing.
"You think! Well, I really came to ask you something..."
"Yes?"
"Would you be my girlfriend?"
"Sure Patrick."

Unknown POV

"Sure Patrick."
She was supposed to be mine! I love Jane! Not him! I will have her! One day! One day soon! Just wait a little longer beautiful. A little long.....
