"Things always happen for a reason, if it's meant to be... it'll be."

Tom Kaulitz

"You think you're big shit, just because you got my sister on your ass? Nah, i'm onto you Kaulitz." Ryder pointed a finger of accusation at me, could he get any lower?

"Listen man, least i'm not making her cry." I stole the ball out of his hands, pushing past everyone else. I made a smooth throw.

"I don't fucking make her cry?"

I scoffed, sitting down flat in the middle of his drive way. The rest of the guys continued.

"She's lonely, and it sucks you don't notice that about your own sister." I put my head into my hands, my elbows resting on my knees.

"I know my sister better than you think you do, asshat." He crossed his arms.

Right.

"I'm not a bad guy Ry, it's time you realize that. I just get put into shitty situations, and if you spend a second not yelling at her.. you'd notice that yeah she's fuckin' lonely." I didn't know what it was, but I knew she wanted a friend.

And that's what i'd be for her, a friend.

He left me with my thoughts, joining back in on the practice game.

"Ight, I gotta leak." I stood up, going in through his back door.

Sheriff was out cruising tonight on Chesterfield, which means i'd told Bill to lay low.

I went up the stairs, knocking on the first door to the right. "Ryder! I'm fast asleep!"

"Sure you are." I opened the door, seeing her eyes screwed shut to the extreme.

"Oh... it's you." Alexa sat up, bringing the blanket up a little.

"Oh? Is that a bad thing Sinclair?" I shut the door behind me, she shook her head. "I prefer it be you, than my brother or my dad."

That's what I thought.

I reached into my pocket, throwing her a small container. It had about seven gummies, which should last her two weeks if she uses them the way she tells me.

"Thank you." Alexa smiled, placing the gummies in her bedside drawer.

"You mind if I hang out here for a bit?" I rolled my shoulders back, she looked at my chest.

"You're sweaty."

"That I am. Can I stay or nah?"

She nodded.

I flopped backwards on her bed, she grimaced with a disgusted look on her face.

"I just said you're sweaty." She threw her pillow at me, I caught it. "Yeah, I know." I threw it back at her, she huffed.

"Nobody is allowed on my bed if they're sweaty, get your butt on the floor." She demanded.

I didn't argue with her, laying like a starfish on the floor. She got up, joining me.
