"I became addicted to how safe I feel when i'm with you."

Alexa SinclairI don't know what i'm going to do today.
Tom got me out of swimming on Friday, but I can't get out of it now.
"Alexa?"
I glanced up, seeing Ava hovering over me.
"There's a drug dealer from the basketball team knocking on the girls locker room door and asking for you, do I tell him to piss off?"
My brows furrowed. "What? No, he's my friend." I stood up, going to the entrance of the locker room. I went into the hallway.
"Lexie." Tom smiled, seeing me.
"What's up?" I took a step forward, holding onto his hand. He took his bag off his shoulder.
"I uh, I don't know what girl shit you like but this is the best I could do on short notice." Tom unzipped his bag, what the heck?
What did he do?
He handed me a one piece swim suit, with a pair of longer shorts.
"Is it good?"
I'm going to cry.
Not literally, but I will.
"Thank you." I stood on my toes, lacing an arm around his neck. He held onto my lower back, whispering a, "no problem."
I tipped my head back, pressing my lips against his. "You should go change before he marks you as tardy." Tom mumbled, ugh.
"Also... I-I, want to try talking to Ryder so we can hang out in the lounge?"
His eyes widened for a split second, before settling back to their normal state. "If you want, but not when i'm in the same room. He might kill me." Okay, fair.
"I'll talk to him after school, and then you can come over tonight, so I can paint your nails this time." I'm going to paint them black and red.
Like a ladybug, he'd be so cute.
"You're not painting my nails."
Oh, yes I am.
"Go, before you're late." He smacked my ass, as a form of goodbye.
I won't admit how much I liked it either.

"What a surprise, you're riding home with me." Ryder made a sarcastic remark, yeah...
"I wanted to talk to you about something." I said, shutting the car door.
"What is it?" He reversed out of the school parking lot, how do I even start?
"You can't be mad, promise me you won't be mad." This is making me insanely nervous.
"I promise, whatever."
"I kissed Tom."
He suppressed a gag. "Fascinating."
