Alexa Sinclair"Hey baby, you feeling better?" Tom dropped his gym bag by my bedroom door, I scooted over so he could get in beside the wall.
"Yeah." I mumbled, quickly wiping away a tear before he could see it.
He took his clothes off, getting in beside me. I felt his arms around me, spooning me into his body. I closed my eyes, trying to find comfort.
I couldn't.
Not when I knew what I knew.
"It's only 4PM, why don't we go out?" Tom suggested, while he kissed down my shoulder.
"I still feel queasy, maybe tomorrow." I've been molded into the same spot in my bed for the last four hours. I didn't want to get up.
"I can make us dinner and we can watch a movie." Dinner and a movie sounded perfect on a normal day.
I turned around to face him, clamping my hands onto his neck. "Where do you see yourself in the next ten years?" I questioned.
"I- uhm... married, obviously. Maybe a kid, I don't know it's awhile from now." Tom sucked in a breath, contemplating about it.
I slowly nodded, forcing out a smile.
"You want kids?"
He made a face, making me make a face.
"I think they're little shits, but... yeah I guess? It wasn't ever my plan until we met, but kids would be fine." He shrugged.
"Okay." I wrapped myself around him, cuddling my face into his chest.
Cupcake jumped up on the bed, snuggling on Tom's hip. He lowered his hand, scratching the top of her head.
"Lex... I think she's humping me again."
I opened my eyes, ah shit.
I lifted her off of him, placing her on my chest instead. "Stop doing that." I pointed a finger at Cupcake, she started to lick it.
"I think she's trying to steal my man." I rolled my eyes, how dare she?
"I told you to get her fixed." Tom mumbled, throwing his arm around me.
"But that's so mean, what if someone chopped off your tip?" I pouted, I know it would be a lot easier but still. It feels mean.
He gulped.
I heard two knocks on my door.
"Come in!"
My dad looked to me and Tom, before narrowing his eyes to Cupcake.
"There she is." He cooed, scooping Cupcake out of my lap. He's crazy obsessed with her. It scares me a little sometimes.
Dad held her in one arm, while he dove into his back pocket. Throwing me some envelopes.
"That is everyone's paycheck, could you pass them along for me when you go in for your shift tomorrow after school?" He requested.
