CHAPTER TWENTY SEVEN: Quidditch

                Alexia, James and Scorpius met up at the common room by the time everyone was gone, which was quite hard because the fifth years were studying for their O.W.Ls so it took quite some time before the common room cleared up. Alexia still didn’t feel very confident about what they were going to do, but she still went downstairs to the common room to meet up with her friends.

“Alexia over here,” she heard someone call quietly, she looked around and saw Scorpius by the portrait hole, she quietly went up to him

“Where’s James?” she asked as the two of them climbed out of the hole

“He’s getting some brooms, he hexed one of his cloaks to turn invisible but it won’t stay invisible for so long so he left quickly.” Scorpius explained as they got out “C’mon,” they then went under their invisibility cloak (the one the three of them worked on before)

“Do you have the map?” asked Alexia as they walked under the cloak

“No, maybe James has it” said Scorpius “which I hope he does, the teachers are patrolling the corridors now and some of the fifth years are camping out in the library.”

“I sure hope he does,” said Alexia “crap it’s Filch.” Alexia and Scorpius froze and watched as Filch and his cat Mrs. Norris pass by

“I’m sure that I heard voices here!” said Filch “Peeves?! Where are you?!” Filch then looked around and paused to hear some noise but e heard none; Mrs. Norris was staring directly at Scorpius and Alexia which made them feel she could see them

“Let’s go then now my sweet,” said Filch, Mrs. Norris then walked away with her master but was still eyeing Scorpius and Alexia.

“Is it just me or do you think that cat can see us under this cloak?” said Alexia as they walked towards the grounds,

“I think it can,” said Scorpius “c’mon we’re supposed to meet James at the broom shed.”

Alexia and Scorpius then headed to the broom shed, where they tried to find James

“James?” Scorpius and Alexia called quietly, still under the cloak

“Turn around….” Said a creepy voice, Alexia and Scorpius rolled their eyes as they saw James standing in front of them with a cloak over himself

“You do realize you aren’t invisible anymore right James?” said Scorpius, James pulled off his cloak and grumbled

“I should work on that hex more often,” he said as he put on the cloak more properly “I’m guessing you guys are in front of me?” Alexia and Scorpius then took off their cloak, and Scorpius pocketed it

“My instincts are good,” said James smirking

“So are you guys playing or what?” said Alexia in a bored tone

“Oh yeah,” said James “here’s your broom Scor,” he then handed Scorpius a broom “Alexia here’s yours,”

“I’m not playing remember?” said Alexia

“Well you might as well hold onto it,” said James, Alexia then took the broom and they headed to the pitch, as they got in

“Wait how can you guys play when you don’t have the equipment but your brooms?” asked Alexia, James then smiled wickedly “I suppose you weren’t able to nick some Bludgers or a Quaffle were you?”

“Nope,” said James still smiling “we’ll be using this.” He then took out a small golden ball from his pocket, “First snitch my dad caught during his first year, the one Scorpius and I was going to use when he came over to play Quidditch.”
