CHAPTER TWENTY SIX: Precautions

                Alexia, James and Scorpius were back at Hogwarts once again, they fixed up their stuff in their dorm once they got up and met each other at the common room once again,

“Everyone seems so tense tonight.” Said Scorpius as they walked towards the Great Hall, Alexia and James nodded as they saw a couple of teachers walk past them looking very grave

“It’s because of the breakout,” said Alexia quietly “they still haven’t caught him; I bet they’re worried he might come here.”

James and Scorpius glanced at each other, they didn’t like touching that subject it always made Alexia go quiet,

“He won’t,” said James putting a hand on her shoulder, Alexia shook her head

“There’s a possibility,” she said “remember what I told you guys? That day when McGonagall talked to me?” Ever since the day James and Scorpius found out, she didn’t hide anything from them anymore

“Yeah but he’ll have one heck of a hard time to try and get here.” Said James, Scorpius nodded in agreement “he’ll have to get past lots of people and stuff, and most of all Scorpius and I. he’ll have to get past us before he can get to you of course.”

Alexia smiled as they entered the Great Hall

“Thanks guys,” she said as they sat down, the Great Hall started to fill up and of course the Headmistress rose from her seat and went up front to give the usual speech,

“Good evening everyone and welcome back,” said Professor McGonagall who looked very grave “As you all know we are now almost finished with this year’s term, your final exams are coming up, O.W.Ls for the fifth years, and N.E.W.Ts….”

“Wake me up when she’s finished,” said James resting his head on the Gryffindor Table “I’m hungry and McGonagall is starving me to death I’ll sleep it off or better yet I’ll sleep to my death.”

Alexia rolled her eyes, and continued listening to McGonagall even if she felt McGonagall was going to bring bad news,

“I know all of you will be busy, but I have to give out some reminders,” said McGonagall “I know all of you know that former Death Eater; Rodolphus Lestrange is still out on the loose,” and Alexia was right, she then went all glum, James suddenly sat up properly once again and Scorpius started comforting her

“I’m fine.” Alexia lied; she didn’t want James and Scorpius fussing over her she felt like she was being a drag whenever they did

“So all of you must understand the precautions that shall be observed,” McGonagall continued, James and Scorpius had stopped fussing over Alexia now “all of you must walk in groups, strictly everyone must be back at their common rooms right after dinner, no one shall be caught out of hours if someone is fifty points will be docked immediately from that person’s house.”

The reminders were very many, by the time McGonagall finished everyone was starving

“At last!” James exclaimed as food appeared on his plate, he then started eating as if he hadn’t eaten in centuries, Alexia just laughed

“D’you reckon you’ll be following the precautions James?” asked Scorpius as he drank some pumpkin juice, James swallowed his food sloppily and shrugged

“Not sure actually,” he said, Alexia raised her eyebrows

“You’re actually going to follow them?” she asked surprised
