I threw my phone at the wall, cursing myself for letting her go. I should've fired back. I should've killed the little bitch Kingston was.
But I didn't.
I lay down in the bed, with a pounding headache. I enjoyed getting to know Lauryn, she was a good girl. And she didn't deserve to die.
Suddenly, I heard my phone buzz. What could this motherfucker possibly want now?
"What?" I asked, almost choking on my words.
"Chris, it's me."
