Chapter-63

After a few days, Soumya was discharged from the hospital.

The Palace was decorated to welcome the baby. The whole palace was full of happiness because of their baby Rathore.

Baby was sleeping on Soumya's arm and Shreyansh was looking at the baby silently.

"Shrey, Are you sad for not having a girl?"

Shreyansh looked at her.
"Ahh No. Why should I? I can't even tell you how I felt when the nurse gave him to me. It felt like a dream. He is a part of us."

Soumya smiled and nodded.
"But see, what happened? I wanted a son, and God blessed me with a son, but his looks are yours. I'm hurt." she said dramatically.

He leaned to her.
"So Let's process to give him a sister who will look like you." He gave her a long, soft kiss.

They pulled out.
"No. Let this little prince get a little older; then we will think about it." said as she looked at her baby.

Soumya and Shreyansh were roaming in the garden, holding the baby to give him morning sunlight.

At that moment, Dhruv entered there.

"So what's doing my little prince? " saying that he took the baby in his arms.

They all sat on the nearby tea table arrangement.
"We have done our side thing. now what will you do?" Soumya said mischievously.

"What?" Dhruv couldn’t understand.

"Ahha....We have a boy now. You also should have a girl so that we can get them married." Soumya said.

SHREYANSH SHOOK his head in disbelief.

"Bhabisa,  Maybe it can't be possible in my life. The way my grandparents are searching for girls for me, I should die rather than marry those girls. If you saw that-"

"Don’t criticize them, Dhruv.  Maybe you don’t like them. But you don’t have any right to criticize them. They are perfect in their ways." Shreyansh said.

"No bro. I'm not criticizing them. I'm just saying that no one has captured my heart till now from those girls. "

"Have some patience, Dhruv bhai. You will get my baby's mother-in-law
soon. "Soumya said.

They laughed after listening to her.

Rathore arranged a puja at the palace for the baby's name-giving ceremony.

Muskaan was so excited to give the baby a name.

When the priests said it was time for the Puja, Soumya covered her head with the dupatta and sat down with the little one in her arms, and Shreyansh sat beside her as per the ritual.

The priest started chanting mantras and all, which continued for thirty-something minutes before they asked us what we would want to name him.

And then it was time. Muskaan came forward and whispered the name to the baby's ear first and then announced it to others.

" VEDANT "

Shreyansh repeated that loudly.

"VEDANT SINGH RATHORE."

Soumya and Shreyansh looked at their baby and then at each other. They gave themselves uncounted vows for the rest of their life with their eyes.

They are what people call soulmates. Mainly people who find theirs are privileged.
