Amber's POV:
Emma and Killian have just kissed, for the first time as a married couple before Leroy shouts, "The Black Fairy's curse. It's here!" The midnight smoke begins to surround us and the town.
I rush to my husband and our children's sides. He holds me and we hold our daughter and son by their shoulders, "Where do you think it's taking us?" Molly, "Doesn't matter." I say, "Wherever we end up, we're gonna win." We hold each other close as the dark black fog evaporates all of us.
Henry's POV:
I open my eyes from lying on the ground. Except I'm on the ground. I am lying on the roof. At first, I thought I passed out at my mom's wedding, but I have a feeling like something isn't right. The last thing I remember is that black fog enveloping all of us, then...my mind goes blank.
As I walk down Main Street, the only person I recognize is Archie, walking down the street with Pongo, "Archie! Archie!" I run up to him, "What happened? What's going on? What did the Black Fairy's curse do?"
He seems confused, "Really, Henry? Black Fairy? Curse? Henry, I...I thought we were past all this." He only talked like this before I brought Emma to Storybrooke for the first time when I was 11. I say, "She's done something to you, to everyone."
He asks, "Henry, do I need to schedule another appointment?" I ask, "Where is she?" He asks me, "Who?" I ask him, "You know who. Where's my mom?" Meaning Regina or Emma. He begins to sympathize with me, "Henry...you know exactly where Emma is. She's in the same place that she's been for the last two years."
I don't understand. Nothing is making sense to me. When I arrive at the mental hospital, there is Emma, who walks behind Nurse Ratchet. "Mom!" "Henry!" We hug, "Thank God you remember me." She says, "Of course I remember you."
I say, "Good, cause I just looked all over town and I couldn't find the rest of our family. Snow, David, Hook, Amber..." She says, "No, no. Stop!" I am confused, "What?" She admits, "I am not going down that road again. I've worked way too hard for you to undo my progress."
I ask her, "Progress?" She says, "You know what I mean." She sits us down, "Those people. Snow White, Prince Charming, Captain Hook, none of them are real. My parents are not fairy-tale characters. No one in Storybrooke is. There's no curse. It's just a regular town."
I ask her, "Mom, what happened to you?" She says, "What happened to me is I'm getting better. I ended up in this nuthouse because I believed you back then, bought into all of it."
I say, "No, this is the Black Fairy. She said she would take away your family, and this is how. She cursed you" She says, "No! No more curses. I just want to get well, so that maybe I can be your mother."
I ask, "Ok. How long have you been a patient here?" She points out, "You know how long I've been here" I point out, "Maybe it'll help if you relieve it." She sighs, "Ever since you tried to prove that fairy tales were real by eating a poisoned apple turnover. You ended up in the hospital for weeks. You barely made it through."
I say, "No, that's not how it happened. Don't you remember? I did eat the turnover, but you fought a dragon and woke me with true love's kiss." She grows frustrated, "Oh, my God. Henry, stop!"
I continue, "You woke me, and you..." She interrupts me, "This is crazy. You're the one who's supposed to be getting better. Don't go back." I refuse, "But it's true." She doesn't believe me, "Henry, you were not saved by a kiss, that's ridiculous. You were saved by medicine, by Dr. Whale, and by...hospital."
Nurse Ratchet comes by with Emma's pills. I don't allow her to take them, "You can't take that. You can't take anything. It might be how the Black Fairy is keeping you from remembering."
