After Rain agreed to the contract, Phayu ordered food for both of them. Rain wanted to say no, but his stomach said otherwise. He hadn't eaten anything since morning. He had left his house early to avoid his stepmother and family, not wanting them to see early in the morning. Then at university, he skipped meals to avoid Rui and Mai, he planned to grab something on his way home, but that plan also failed. Now, here he was, eating like a starved man, his mouth full with food and another bite ready in hand.

Phayu watched Rain with a clear distaste, feeling uncomfortable with the way Rain was eating, with his mouth full of food. Since childhood, Phayu had been perfectly mannered, possessing all the etiquette a person should have. Rain, on the other hand, was the complete opposite, and Phayu could see that clearly.

"Can you please stop making noises and eat like a human?" Phayu snapped, glaring at Rain.

Rain, who was busy shoveling food into his mouth, looked up with his cheeks puffed out like a hamster and gave a cheeky smile. "Actually, I was very hungry, that's why," Rain said, his words muffled by the food in his mouth.

Phayu's eyes narrowed. "First, finish whatever is in your mouth before speaking. Don't you have any manners?"

Rain immediately gulped down the food and took a swig of water, almost spilling it on himself. "I was saying I was hungry, otherwise, I have manners, okay?"

"Yeah, I can see that," Phayu replied dryly, picking up a tissue to wipe the food off Rain's cheek, his expression clearly showing his distaste.

Rain chuckled, not bothered whatever phayu was saying. "Thank you, your majesty," he said sarcastically.

Phayu sighed heavily, his frustration clearly evident. "So, we are getting married tomorrow," Rain asked, now eating a little more neatly but still far from Phayu's standards.

"Yes, and I don't want you to be late. I will pick you up. Get whatever you need from your house, then you'll live at my place,"

Rain nodded, already knowing the conditions from the contract. "Got it, boss. Anything else? Want me to shine your shoes too?" he quipped, winking at Phayu.

Phayu glared at him, clearly annoyed by his behavior "Just be ready. And for heaven's sake, learn some table manners."

Rain laughed, not taking him seriously. "Yeah, yeah. Don't worry, I'll be on my best behavior, I am not like this usually" he said shoving more food in his mouth, phayu could only shake his head.

As they continued their meal, the contrast between them was becoming even more evident: Rain, shamelessly messy and clumsy, and Phayu, impeccably mannered and increasingly frustrated. They bickered throughout the meal, with Phayu scolding Rain for his lack of etiquette while Rain was not paying any attention, his whole focus was on his food.

After having their food, Phayu dropped Rain off at his house. Just as Rain entered his house, someone grabbed his hair and slapped him hard, making him wince in pain.
