"Oh, right," Phayu smirk and leaned close to Rain's ear. "You are not my boy… you are my wifey, my good wifey" he whispered against rain's ear, his warm breath brushing against rain's neck making the hair stand on the back of his neck.
Hearing the word "wifey" made Rain's face turn even redder, he felt his whole body heating up. It was such a simple word, but when Phayu said it like that, in that teasing and seductive tone it stirred something inside Rain that he didn't fully understand or Maybe he didn't want to understand.
"You... you... stay away from me!" he stammered as he pushed Phayu back, trying to compose himself and hide his flushed face.
Phayu shakes his head smiling, seeing how Rain is sulking. "If you don't want me to do that again, then take your medicine on time. Or I might just think you want me to use another method," Phayu said in a more husky tone, teasing him even more.
Although Phayu hadn't intended to tease Rain like this, he just wanted Rain to take his medicine. But Rain's stubbornness and bratty behavior made Phayu try a different approach. This boy was making him do things he had never imagined he would do. First he entered in his life in a most unexpected way, then he slowly started to occupy his thoughts and now he was making him feel so protective and worried about him.
Rain saw how Phayu smiling to himself like a fool, he threw a pillow at his face, snapping him out of his thoughts."Don't you even think about coming near me again, you pervert!"
Phayu caught the pillow raising an eyebrow. "Pervert?"
"Yes, you pervert! You can't just kiss someone like that. Now, stay away from me," Rain pointed a finger at him.
Phayu smirked. "Someone? When did I kiss someone ? I kissed my wifey. Have you forgotten? We are legally married. Isn't it every husband's right to kiss his wife? So how does that make me a pervert?"
Rain opened his mouth to argue but felt a bit speechless. Technically, Phayu was right, they were legally married, even if it was just a contract but still they are married and Phayu had every right on him.
"You..." Rain started but Phayu placed a hand over his mouth.
"Enough talking you talk too much. Now, go to sleep quietly," Phayu put the pillow back on the bed.
"What are you doing?" Rain asked seeing Phayu putting back the pillow in bed.
Phayu looked at him confused. "Going to sleep,"
"What?! No! You are not sleeping here!" Rain said loudly panicking at the thought of sharing the bed with Phayu after that kiss, which had made him feel strange feeling in his stomach.
Phayu raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean? This is my bed. Why can't I sleep here?" he asked getting confused
"Because... because..." Rain quickly tried to think of an excuse, as he couldn't admit the real reason. "I... I am sick! Yeah, I am sick and I don't want you near me. I need to sleep alone so go sleep on the sofa." He threw a pillow again at Phayu and then sprawled across the bed, closing his eyes dramatically.
Phayu stared at him, surprised. Just last night, Rain had slept right next to him, practically glued to his side. And now he was asking him not to sleep beside him, why it's so hard to understand this boy, Phayu thought. But maybe Rain really needs space since he wasn't feeling well, So Phayu didn't argue. He quietly moved to the sofa, switched off the lights and lay down.
Rain kept his eyes shut until he heard Phayu settle on the couch. Finally, he took a deep breath, feeling his heart pounding in his chest. "Phew," he sighed quietly, rolling to his side. Gradually, he relaxed and drifted off to sleep.
