Rain suddenly felt like the blood was rushing to his head, making everything seem chaotic. That soft thing was Phayu's cold lips against his, that were now kissing him, providing moisture to his dry lips. Phayu was continuously kissing rain to distract him, cupping Rain's face in his hands, not giving Rain any chance to think or pull away. Phayu sucked on Rain's bottom lip, feeling how soft it was, and pressed his tongue against Rain's teeth, as if asking to enter his mouth.
Rain felt intoxicated, his head spinning, forgetting about the pain. He opened his mouth to breathe but Phayu took that chance to invade his mouth. Now their tongues were clashing, making lewd sounds. Phayu got so lost in kissing rain, that he forgot about everything else and sucked on rain's tongue hungrily, When Phayu sucked on his tongue, Rain felt his whole body turn to jelly. His eyes widened in shock as he looked at Phayu's perfect face so close, eyes closed in concentration. Rain closed his eyes too and held Phayu's hand that was cupping his face, feeling the warmth of Phayu's palm on his cheek. He didn't feel the pain again until the doctor completed the stitches.
Just then, Phayu slowly pulled away from Rain's lips. Even after leaving them, Phayu felt an overwhelming urge to kiss him more. Those lips were so addictive. But as soon as Phayu withdrew, Rain lost his consciousness, like a thread snapping. He had been able to stay conscious due to the adrenaline, but now he lay unconscious in Phayu's arms, his head resting on Phayu's chest.
Phayu looked at the doctor and nurses, who were looking down, not daring to meet his eyes. "Ahmm," Phayu cleared his throat. The doctor looked up. "I'm sorry for that, doctor," Phayu apologized.
"It's totally fine, Mr. Phayu. I think the injection has taken effect. He'll be unconscious for some time as his body is weak and he's lost a lot of blood, so don't worry if he doesn't wake up soon," the doctor explained.
Phayu nodded and gently laid Rain down on the bed to rest. He then sat down on the chair beside the bed, keeping a close watch on Rain.
When Rain woke up the next day, he was greeted by the blinding whiteness of the hospital room's walls. Attempting to sit up, he inadvertently pulled his leg, causing a sharp pain to radiate from his wound, as if he had been stabbed. Before he could process the pain, he felt someone grabbing his hand. It was Phayu, sleeping deeply with his head resting on the side of the bed. When Phayu felt the movement, his sleep immediately broke.
"What happened? Are you okay? Are you in pain or do you need something?" Phayu asked worriedly.
When Rain looked at Phayu's face, he looked very tired, and Rain was surprised, wondering if Phayu had stayed with him the whole time."No, no, I’m okay. I just accidentally pulled my leg."
Hearing this, Phayu immediately stood up and removed the sheet to check Rain's wound. It was still well-wrapped in bandages, and it didn’t seem like the wound had reopened. Phayu sighed in relief and then scolded Rain, "Can't you just stay still? You shouldn’t move like this; you have to take care."
All night, Rain kept mumbling and whining in pain. Phayu could only stay here, holding his hand to keep an eye on him so he wouldn’t hurt his wound in his sleep. Finally, after the doctor checked on Rain in the morning and explained how dangerous the situation had been due to the damage to the artery but now everything is fine, Phayu had managed to get some sleep, exhausted from worry.
"I am fine, don’t worry," Rain reassured Phayu as he saw the concern on his face.
Phayu sat back down in the chair with a sigh of relief. Rain looked around the room, which was spacious and luxurious. If all the medical equipment were removed, it wouldn’t look like a hospital room at all. Then Rain remembered something. "Oh no, where is my gift? My property deed!" he asked Phayu.
