The next day, when Rain entered his university, most eyes were on him, accompanied by murmurs. Rain decided to ignore them and attended all his classes as usual. Afterward, he started walking toward the music department. On his way to the music room, he saw Sky walking toward him.
"Sky!" Rain called out, hugging him tightly, almost crushing him.
"Ohh God, Rain, let go! I can't breathe," Sky said, tapping on Rain's shoulder. Realizing how tightly he was hugging Sky, Rain let go.
"Sky, what do I do now? They all look at me like they're ready to eat me alive," Rain fake-cried.
"But the rumors have almost died down. Why are you tense now?" Sky asked, looking at Rain in confusion.
"Huh?" Rain looked at Sky, equally confused.
"Yes, most of the posts about you and Winnie have been removed," Sky said.
"What? Really?" Rain asked in surprise.
"Yes, I think some action has been taken by Winnie's team. They probably don't want their artist paired with someone when his career is at its peak," Sky informed Rain.
"But last night, he said he wouldn't do anything about it," Rain mumbled.
"When did he say that?" Sky looked at Rain, surprised.
"He messaged me last night," Rain said casually.
"Oh, so you talk personally too?" Sky teased.
"No, it was just last night, and Winnie messaged me first to talk about this," Rain immediately countered.
Sky looked at Rain with suspicion, as if he were hiding something. "It's quite weird that he messaged you first. From what I've heard, it's hard to be friendly with him, and people find it difficult to even have a word with him," Sky mused.
"But I think he's a nice guy. He talks nicely. Yeah, sometimes he can be a little annoying, but otherwise, he's nice," Rain said.
"Oh, really?" Sky patted Rain's shoulder. "Well, that's good for you. Now I have to go; it's almost time for my lecture." Sky bid goodbye, and Rain continued toward the music room, where he spotted Winnie playing the piano.
When Winnie saw Rain, he immediately stopped playing and walked over. "So, finally, you're here.
"I saw the rumors have died down, Thank you for settling everything." Rain said, thanking winnie.
"What did I settle?" Winnie looked at Rain in confusion.
"The rumors? Didn't you handle it?" Rain asked.
"Of course not. Why would I do that? Oh no, it's really bad. I wanted to see people talking for a few more days. How could it end so soon?" Winnie huffed like a child.
Hearing Winnie, Rain felt like picking up a guitar and smashing it over Winnie's head. "Don't you think you are getting more annoying day by day?" Rain said, narrowing his eyes, almost forgetting who Winnie was. The more time he spent with Winnie, the more casual he became.
Winnie put a hand on his heart, pretending to be hurt. Soon, they started practicing.
Meanwhile, Phayu's assistant, Yim, entered his office. "Sir, we've handled the rumors, and most of the reports have been deleted. Any new reports about Khun Winnie will also be stopped," Yim informed.
Phayu nodded. "Should we tell Khun Winnie about this?" Yim asked hesitantly.
Until now, only Phayu's parents knew he was married to Rain. The public knew Phayu was married, but not to whom. This was one reason for the rumors. Phayu thought for a moment. "No, don't tell him anything," he decided. He didn't want anyone, not even Winnie, to know about his marriage to Rain, fearing it would make Rain's life difficult if they ever divorced.
