"Yanna?" I was startled by Aya's voice.

"Yes..." I replied, trying to focus.

"Are you even listening?" she pouted.

"Huh?" I looked at her, confused.

"Ah, Yanna must be tired," Gustav chimed in.

"Why? Didn't you sleep well last night?" Aya asked.

"I slept very late, actually," I smiled faintly.

"Oh, Yanna, what I was saying... do you want to come with us this Sunday? There will be a party, a rave party!" she explained excitedly.

"I'll have to ask my parents," I smiled.

"It will be your first-ever party, Yanna! Oh my god, I'm so excited!" Aya squealed.

I nodded, feeling a mix of excitement and anxiety about the prospect of attending a rave party. My mind was still buzzing from my late-night conversation with Tom. As we continued chatting, my thoughts drifted back to him.

Sunday felt like it was ages away, and I couldn't help but wonder if Tom would be there. His mysterious presence seemed to follow me everywhere, and I couldn't shake the feeling that our paths were destined to cross again soon.

Sunday.

I sat in my room, a mixture of excitement and nerves bubbling inside me. My mom entered, sitting on the edge of my bed.

"Darling... you can go with them," she said softly.

My eyes lit up with excitement, a wide smile spreading across my face.

"But promise me that you'll come home with one of your friends, okay? Just to keep you safe, Yanna."

I nodded eagerly and hugged her tightly.

"Now go on, get changed," she said, giving me a gentle push.

I got up, my heart racing with anticipation. As she left the room, I began to rummage through my closet, searching for the perfect outfit. The thought of attending my first rave party filled me with a mix of excitement and a hint of nervousness. I couldn't wait to tell Aya and the others that I could go.

"Yanna, omggg you came!!!" Aya exclaimed, running towards me.

"You look good, Yanna," Hale said with a smile.

"Thank you," I replied, returning the smile.

Aya cleared her throat dramatically. "Ehem, let's get inside now, omg!!!!"

As we entered the location, it was not what I had expected. The event was held in an abandoned building that gave off an unsettling vibe, reminiscent of those in movies where people are taken hostage. But I decided not to dwell on it and followed my friends inside. We were welcomed by loud music and a throng of people our age dancing energetically. The atmosphere was sweaty and electric with screams and laughter.

Aya hurriedly went to the dance floor, and Gustav followed her. I stood there, watching them with a smile. Despite their constant bickering, they were a lot of fun to be around.
