I wake up with confusion, not remembering where I am or what happened yesterday. Then when it comes to me, I get a warm feeling.

I am with my dad again...

The light from the window is shining into my room and I look at the alarm clock to see that it is seven in the morning.

I feel a body pressed against my back and an arm around my waist.
I twist around to see JJ's sleeping face.

He looks so peaceful when he is asleep...

His eyes blink open and when he sees me a smile grows on his face.

"Morning, Junie," he tells me in his adorable groggy morning voice.

I smile at him, "good morning."

He wraps his arm tighter around my waist and holds me in a tight hug.

When he loosens his grip, I kiss him on the lips then sit up in the bed. JJ sits up quickly next to me and I grab his shirt off the ground and throw it at him.

I climb out of the bed as he slips on the shirt. JJ jumps out of bed behind me and right as I get to the door, he wraps one of his arms around my waist as he opens the door with his free hand.

We both walk into the living room to see Pope and Kiara asleep on the pullout. My dad is sitting at the counter when he looks up and sees us, his jaw drops.

"Who are you and what have you done with my daughter?" He asks jokingly.

I give him an annoyed look and he continues, "my Emery June never wakes up this early."

I roll my eyes as JJ smiles at my dad. I grab a glass of water as I speak, "I think that we should have an early start if we only have one day in Barbados."

My dad nods, "if that's the case then you should wake everyone else up."

I look at JJ and nod towards Pope and Kiara. He walks over to them and shakes Pope the slightest bit, making him jolt awake.

"What's going on?" He asks with panic filling his voice.

JJ breaks out in laughter then Pope cusses to himself and smacks JJ on the head.

JJ rubs his head as he mumbles an ouch.

"You need to get up," I tell him, "we need to get ready for the day."

Kiara starts groaning and rolling on the pullout, "why are we getting up so early?"

"We need to get ready for the day," Pope says, mocking me.

Kiara nods as she sits up and rubs her eyes.

A few minutes later, Sarah walks into the living room.

"Good morning!" She says with her perky voice.

"Morning," I tell her.

"Morning," JJ tells her.

"Good morning, Sarah," my dad tells her.

"What are we doing today?" She asks all of us.

I shrug and look at my dad, "what should we do here?" I ask him.

"I'll write you guys a list." He tells me.

"Are you not gonna come with?" Sarah asks.

He shakes his head, "no, I should finish up all my things here... besides, you guys should have fun with your friends."

We all say okay then my dad continues, "why isn't John B awake?"

JJ stands up from his spot next to me, "I'll wake him up."
