What do I do? I've never lived at someone else's house... I don't know what to do...

I'm sitting on my bed contemplating what I am supposed to do. It's my first morning here at Tanneyhill and I don't know if I should leave my room or not.

John B...

I stand up and walk out of my room then sneak to John B's room.

When I walk in, I shut the door and lean against it, letting out a sigh or relief.

John B is sitting on his bed with a notepad in his hand. He looks at me and speaks, "Hey, Emery." When he is done talking, he goes back to his notepad.

"Hi John B," I tell him.

When I don't say anything, he looks up again.

"What are you doing?"

I sigh then sit down next to him on his bed, "I don't know what to do."

"What are you talking about?" He asks me.

I groan and flip over and cover my face with my hands, "I don't know if I should go to the kitchen or not."

He lets out a small laugh then speaks, "well if you want to eat anything then you should."

I sit up and back hand his arm then continue, "I feel weird walking around someone else's house."

John B sighs then gets up and walks towards the door. He opens it then looks back at me, "come on."

I give him a confused look, "what are you doing?"

He lets out another sigh, "I am only doing this with you once, then you're gonna have to do it on you own."

I think for a split second before getting up and walking out of the room with him.

When we get into the kitchen, I see Ward and Sarah sitting next to each other at the island with bowls in front of them.

"Good morning," John B tells them.
They see us and smiles grow onto both of their faces.

"Morning," Sarah tells us.

"Good morning guys," Ward tells us.
I mumble a morning then Ward continues speaking, "there is cereal in the pantry. You can make something else if you want to."

John B speaks first, "cereal is good."

We go over to the pantry and when John B opens it, I whisper, "holy shit."

It is a big walk in pantry, much bigger than ours... especially considering we don't actually have one.

John B grabs a box Rice Crispy Treats and I scoff, "how old are you? Six?"

He rolls his eyes then grabs a box of Cheerios instead.

I nod then we both fill up a bowl and sit down next to each other at the island.

After a few minutes of eating in silence, Ward speaks up, "do you guys have any plans today?"

John B looks at me, then at Sarah, he then looks back at Ward and shrugs.

"We were probably just going to hang out with the Pogues," he turns to Sarah, "you can come too if you want."

Sarah nods, "okay."

Ward gets up from his spot, "that sounds fun." He tells us before putting his dish in the sink and walking out of the kitchen.

After he is out of earshot, Sarah turns to us, "what is Kiara gonna think of me being there?" She asks.

I look at John B and wait for his answer.

He shrugs, "it doesn't matter what she thinks. Sarah, you are my girlfriend. I want to hang out with my girlfriend and my best friends."

She says okay then pecks him on the lips and puts her bowl in the sink.

She goes up to her room, leaving me and John B alone.

He turns to me, "see? It wasn't that hard."

I roll my eyes, "whatever... thank you for doing it with me."

"Why the hell would you move in with the Camerons?" Kiara asks us.

All of us Pogues are hanging out at the chateau. We are all sitting on the porch and Kiara is pissed at me and John B for moving in with the Camerons.

"Because Kie, it was either we move in with the Camerons or some random family." John B tells her.

Kiara rolls her eyes, "I would have picked a random family instead of living with Sarah Cameron."

I scoff, "what is your problem with Sarah Cameron? Like what exactly did she do to you to make you so mad?" I ask her.

She shakes her head, "you know what she did."

I give her a confused look, "no, actually, I don't. None of us do because you never actually told us what she did." When she doesn't say anything I continue, "you only ever said that she is a bitch and a bad person, but you never said what she did to you."

Kiara gives me a pissed off look then speaks, "if you want to talk about our pasts then you should remember that you were the one that pushed all of us away not even a year ago."

That makes me go quiet...
