I approach him quietly, the cool night air causing me to shiver slightly. Nicolas looks up as I approach, the familiar sight of a cigarette between his lips. "What are you doing here" he asks.
I pull the ciggerate out of his lips, throwing it on the ground, and putting it out by my foot, and pulling him into a kiss.
It's weird how he never, taste or smells like ciggerates. But that thought is pushed down when he responds immediately, his arms snaking around my waist to pull me flush against him. We kiss each other frantically, making me breathless.
When we break apart, panting softly, foreheads resting against each other. "Thank you" I breathe out
Nicolas blinks, his expression shifting from surprise to confusion. "For what?" He asks.
"For bringing Blaise here," I reply "for saving him"
"Don't thank me," he says ij his usual flat tone "I just bought him here you healed him"
I shake my head, a small smile tugging at the corners of my mouth. "Maybe so, but you helped save him. And that means a lot to me."
I look at him, admiring his dishevelled and messy hair, the way his dark robes compliments his skin, the way his scar looks in moonlight "I healed him because you brought him to me, you know sometimes it's okay to accept compliments "
A flicker of warmth appears in Nicolas's eyes, quickly vanishing behind his usual stoic mask.
"Yeah, well..." he trails off, clearly not knowing how to respond.
I roll my eyes good-naturedly. "Just say 'you're welcome '" I nudge his shoulder lightly.
He huffs softly, the hint of a smile ghosting his lips. "You're welcome," he grumbles, the words carrying a hint of reluctance despite his attempt to suppress it
I chuckle, "See, that wasn't too hard, was it?" I nudge him again, my gaze meeting his in a playful challenge.
He rolls his eyes, "Yeah, yeah, don't push your luck," but there's an underlying affection in his tone that betrays his tough exterior
"Oh sure, we wouldn't want you going soft on me," I say mockingly.
He scoffs, a slight smirk tugging at the corners of his lips. "As if I could ever be soft on you, half-blood" he retorts, a hint of teasing in his voice.
I feign offense, clutching my chest jokingly. "Oh, ouch," I mock, rolling my eyes. "You wound me with your scathing words, Malfoy. How shall I ever recover from such a cutting remark?"
He rolls his eyes bringing my face forward crashing his lips on mine
I surrender to the kiss, savoring the taste of his lips on mine. Our kiss deepens, the world around us fading into background noise.
He pulls back slightly, both our breaths heavy. "You're insufferable," he whispers against my lips, his one hand cradling my cheeks and other one wrapped lightly around my throat, his fingers curling behind my neck, thumb pressing softly against my throat.
A small moan escapes me as his thumb brushes against my throat. "Yeah, well, you love it," I murmur between soft kisses, my hands tangling in his hair.
He smirks, "I might tolerate it sometimes" he conceded, his mouth descending to kiss along my jawline, his breaths warm and ticklish against my skin. "But only when your not driving me mad with your over display of emotions"
I let out a breathy laugh, tilting my head back to give him better access to my neck. He takes the opportunity to trail kisses down my neck, his teeth scraping lightly against my throat, causing a delightful shiver to run down me spine.
