Continued..
I'm late, but enjoy
"I'm listening.." I say while giving her time to speak, I watched as her eyes slowly opened before they fell onto me. "I wear.. a lot of baggy clothes all of the time.." She started while glancing off elsewhere, I glanced down at her outfit curiously while continuing to listen.
"To hide who I really am." She seemed to hesitate on saying that, furthering my confusions. "I'm not really comfortable with myself.. I've never been.. and I don't really know how to tell you this. But I want you to know and at least get a true understanding of what you're dealing with."
I stopped frowning, thinking that maybe it would give off a bad rep. But I couldn't help but get nervous and somewhat anxious for what she was getting at, thousands of thoughts gushed through my mind and I couldn't think of anything that she could be talking about.
"I was born intersex, with a condition called 5ard.. and additionally I was assigned female at birth. But as I grew up and went through puberty, i started to develop more masculine sex characteristics. Thats kinda why I look the way I do now.." She started to admit.
"I'm not really comfortable with being either gender.. it's been such a struggle all throughout my life that I just don't even wanna get into that mess. But I let people call me whatever they see fit, and according to most people I look like a girl.. but dress like a guy. So I'm just kinda.. silently sticking to that androgynous script.."
I couldn't even say anything because my brain was honestly in shambles trying to process everything. "I know you're probably confused.." She chuckled slightly but it seemed forced.
"I just wanted to tell you before we got any more serious."
"I appreciate you for telling me, and honestly that does change the way I see you. But not in a bad way." I made sure to state clearly, pulling her face up so she could see that I was genuinely serious.
"And I'm not gonna lie like I don't have a thousand questions.." I admit that too, she chuckled again which made me give a small smile. "But that's only because I'm not familiar with your condition. Whatever you wanna be, you can be that. I won't question you or your decisions as a person. And I'll support you in whatever you decide.."
"What're you having questions about?"
"For clarification... what do you have in between your legs?" I asked her as politely as possible, she nervously licked her lips as the blush became noticeable and my heart rate increased.
"Umm—."
"—never mind. Don't tell me." I insist with a small smile, her blush growing which was contagious. "Are you fertile?"
"I don't think so.. never really got it checked out. But the doctors told my parents that most people with this condition are infertile." She explained while cupping her hands on her stomach.
"Ok.. so what about menstrual cycles and stuff?"
"I don't have one. If we're going by genitals and sex characteristics then I'm technically a male.. I just have a small bit of breast.. and yeah.. just underdeveloped." She struggled to find the correct words, I nodded nonetheless while understanding what she was saying.
