Omniscient
SFThe next day was just as crazy as the one before. Tiana dealing with the bs at the firm as well as in her own personal life. Today had really ticked her off though, the woman having to sit through another court hearing, talk with press, monitoring the coverage of the case, and on top of that she was dealing with client coverage.
It being another famous artist being represented by the firm, and boy was she getting tired of celebrities needing representation. It made her wonder where the everyday people were, managing and working with these people had her head spinning.
And as soon as 12 came, she was out of there heading toward Oakland to handle more business. She talked with SJ's parole officer and Jacob about potentially getting him off of house arrest since he was no longer in a dangerous environment. And of course she was told that she'd have to go through court to get that done again.
Jacob had warned her that it would be harder getting him suspended completely, rather than just reducing his time on house arrest so she decided to just wait it out until his living situation was taken care of.
She talked with the officer about a transfer of probation since SJ would be moving in with her. The man letting her know that it would be possible, she needed to make sure that SJ met all of his probation terms faithfully, she assured him that they wouldn't even have a problem with that at all.
As far as switching schools, she had to find a high school nearby, go and get SJ's transcripts, disciplinary records, his birth certificate info etc. She also had been texting his coach, the man asking about SJ's trial and his current conditions to which Tiana responded with "everything is fine."
She didn't wanna over explain anything to him, she wouldn't even be talking to him in a few more weeks so she saw no problem with that.
So after her meeting with his parole officer, she went and got him from school/ football practice, got him food and whatever he wanted. And then she went and picked up his paperwork from Sheriffe.
"You don't be hot standing out there watching them practice?" Tiana questioned her nephew, he chewed his fries quietly while listening to the music that played on the radio. "Nah." He replied, shaking his head no.
"Shit I don't see why not." She mumbled in response while turning left, heading back over to San Francisco. "So.." She said after a moment of silence. "Everything is slowly coming together.." She told him, he glanced over in confusion while digging his hand back into his bag for more fries.
"I talked to your P.O.. he says that you moving to San Francisco is fine, they're gonna get you transferred over so there won't be any complications." She explained to the boy, he chewed his food softly while listening.
"I have to come back over here and get your withdrawal papers from the school.. and find you a school out by my house so we can have that out of the way.. anything you had in mind?" Tiana questioned, SJ sighing with a slight frown.
"Nope." He replied.
"Mmm, we'll look at some whenever we get home." She replied back. "My place is getting reinsulated but we still have to meet with CPS.. hopefully they'll understand and not be assholes about the house being too hot." She mumbled while skipping the song that played next.
