Tiana grabbed her phone from the kitchen counter and read the message, slightly furrowing her eyebrows.
hey boo, im not busy at all. What's wrong?
Jordan instantly texted back.
nothing
well, I don't wanna be here with my boring mom🙄
the boys are outside grilling and doing manly things.. it's gross
can you pleaseeee come and get me🙏🏻
Tiana read the messages before giving a laugh for a reply, pulling up her keyboard.

Jordan hearted the message and Tiana went back to making lunch for the girls, they were in the living room playing with a Lego set and puzzle pieces that were randomly selected. After Tiana left Lindsey, she took her car to a shop in Oakland, hoping to get what she needed quickly so she could continue on with her day.
But instead, the repairman began pointing out multiple defects and other problems that he noticed.. basically attempting to trick her into a shitload of bills. Though she declined, she ended up right back at the shop since her car was whistling and wasn't riding as smooth as it did before.
Even though it was old, she knew her car didn't just break down on her like that all of a sudden. So she took it back and had a mouthful for the repairman, to which he argued back that he had told her already about the problems. It got so bad that the manager had to plead for reasoning with her, even offering a discount for her repair bills.
So here she was, waiting for a call back for some good news.
She went and grabbed the girls some juice from the fridge and grabbed their little plates, heading toward the living room where they were. "Is daddy coming to get us?"
"I don't know yet, I'll call and ask." Tiana told London, she dropped the legos in her hand when the woman came over with the food. "I don't wanna go home yet. It's still light outside." Kali reasoned, Tiana humming in response.
"We can watch a movie until the shop calls, then we can go shopping or something."
"Okay!" London instantly forgot about going home, Tiana chuckling while sitting down on the floor with her nieces, grabbing the remote from the table.
An hour nearly passed by and she still had no call, it was around 10AM and her car had been there since about 5PM yesterday. She didn't wanna rush, but damn.. how long does it take to fix a car.
