SF, CAChristmas in Italy was Tiana's favorite memory of the year. Lindsey dragging her all around from the time they got there up until new years. She seen so many places and historical landmarks that she thought she'd only see in history books. It made her feel like she wasn't real.. or if she was just experiencing life.
It made her realize how much she stayed boxed off in California with no traveling, roadtrips, getaways.. nothing. She expressed this to Linds after getting home, the woman pledging to get her out more.
Tiana attempting to get her to pledge to pick back up with the music and art, but Linds only laughed and brushed her off. Though she didn't pledge that, she did show Tiana more footage of her and her old band. Even promising to take her back to Oregon to meet them one day.
Tiana grew obsessed with that idea quickly, Astoria, Oregon being one of the places she always wanted to visit. The Goonies was her favorite childhood movie, nearly any show from the 80's was. It always made her feel a way whenever she watched it. And it made her wish that she was born just a few years earlier so she could experience life in the late 80's and early 90's.
Everything from then just seemed so authentic and original, Tiana hating how things progressively watered down after those years. So she sat on the couch with Linds, watching the Goonies.
Her knees pulled up to her chest with a blanket wrapped around her, Lindsey next to her sitting regularly with her hands in her lap. Tiana had been quiet ever since she got there, and she was unsure if the woman had an attitude or if she did something or not.
And she was honestly scared to ask.
She glanced over to see the woman staring straight ahead at the TV, her eyebrows slightly furrowed as she watched intently. Lindsey sighed lightly and glanced back over at the TV, Tiana glancing over at the woman with furrowed brows.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing." She mumbled, Tiana unwrapping the covers so she could scoot closer. "Don't start with me, Lindsey."
"There's nothing wrong, lovely. I thought you were upset.. but I didn't wanna ask." She admitted to the woman while wrapping her around her, tilting her head against Tiana's. "I'm okay.. I'm just cramping."
"Oh.. you want a massage?"
"No. They too intense, ima just thug it out." Tiana insisted while straightening her legs out, she sat them across Lindsey's lap and turned to lay her head on the woman's shoulder.
"You sure? You don't want any medication or anything?" Lindsey asked, Tiana shook her head with a small sigh. "I do, I just don't feel like getting up." She admitted.
"I would've gotten it." Lindsey admitted, Tiana hummed in disapproval. "No.." She started before moving her legs, forcing herself up. "Can you see my pad?" She asked the woman after adjusting her pants, Lindsey allowed her eyes to roll down before shaking her head.
She stood up and followed the woman upstairs to the kitchen, leaning against the counter while Tiana went in the pantry for medicine. "You must not be staying with me tonight? You still in your work clothes.."
