"Honey, as much as I've been embracing pregnancy, you've got to admit it's made me fat," I complained as slouched next Jermaine after getting ready for bed

"Honey, as much as I've been embracing pregnancy, you've got to admit it's made me fat," I complained as slouched next Jermaine after getting ready for bed.

His focus was on the television catching up on some sports highlights.

He glance over at me and responds.  "Nae, your body is doing an incredible thing right now, creating life. You look beautiful no matter what, whether you have a baby bump or not. Your body is changing to accommodate our growing baby, and that is something to be celebrated, not criticized."

His words made me smile, as he always knew how to uplift me and show his love and appreciation during these changes. I snuggled up next to him, feeling his warmth, grateful for his constant support.

"Well, you've certainly made that clear, once again," I remarked with a touch of humor and leaned in, kissing him softly

"I will tell you a million more times if I have to," he replied, wrapping his arm around me.

"Have I told you how extremely hot you are when get all firm and protective like this?" I whispered, gently teasing him, planting soft kisses on his neck. "I know the basketball is on, and it's your first love, but can your second love get your undivided attention?" I asked playfully.

He chuckled, his eyes sparkling with affection. "You might have mentioned it once or twice," he replied, running his hand through my hair. "And you most certainly can have my undivided attention," he added, turning his attention away from the television to focus solely on me.

He kisses me deeply, his passion evident in every touch. After we lost ourselves in each other, I collapsed down onto the bed.

"Wow," I breathed out after few minutes of bliss. "Was that your way of telling me to quit complaining about my body changes?" I pointed out.

"Pretty much, but let's be honest, it only works for a day or two before your pregnancy mood swings take over," he responded.

I laughed and protested, "My mood swings aren't that bad."

"Is that so? Shall we review some evidence?" he quipped, reaching for his phone.

He then began to read through a list of funny texts and voicemails I had sent him during some of my more emotional pregnancy hormones moments. We both ended up laughing so hard that I was practically in tears.

"I can't believe you were sat next to Lauren Hill at the airport when I sent you that text," I exclaimed between fits of laughter, recalling one particularly embarrassing moment.

The text read: Heads up, I haven't able to shave because my bump is in the way, and I feel like a yeti. If you divorce me when you get home, I'll understand.

Half an hour later, the text read: I've managed to contort my body into a pretzel-like shape and successfully shave. Crisis averted! No need for divorce papers.
