Athena Jones

I woke up witha severe headache, I couldn't remember what happened last night, I do remember drinking, Nicolas leaving, him telling about he's going to take me to my mother, and my mother would send me away in the muggle world. What a mess.

I grabbed my head pressing my fingers on it, as the pain grows, I looked around to see I was laying on the bed, did Nicolas put me here? Where was he?

The pain continues to throb within my head, a reminder of the alcohol's effects. I sit up gingerly, trying to piece together the fragments of my memory. Nicolas... taking me home... my mother... the muggle world. The events of the previous night are hazy, but certain details begin to surface as my thoughts clear.

The room around me is unfamiliar, the surroundings slightly blurry, likely due to the lingering effects of the alcohol. I sit on the bed, bracing my head, trying to remember more.

The pain in my skull pulses with each beat of my heart. I take a deep breath, trying to calm my throbbing headache. What happened last night? I can remember drinking but after Nicolas left but after that it's all a blur...

I get up from the bed looking around for Nicolas, when I hear water trickling down from the bathroom, I frown as I walked near the bathroom door, the water flows out the bathroom from under the door, my confusion growing as I tried to open the door but it's locked, I tried again. Nothing.

"Nicolas?" I called out banging my fist against the door, panic rising inside me.

The sound of rushing water pouring out from the bathroom door fills my ears. I call out to Nicolas, banging my fist against the door, hoping for a reply, nothing. His name echoes through the space, my worry growing.

I can faintly hear something through the door. His absence of response sends a jolt of panic through me, the headache forgotten for a moment.

I gathered my energy positioning my hand in front of the door and the red particle swirls into a bright red ball and shoots the door open, making it fall on the ground, I gasp looking at Nicolas submerged into the bathtub the water overflows running down the edges.

My heart pounds in my chest as I see Nicolas submerged in the bathtub, the water overflowing from the edges. Panic grips me as I rush towards him, my feet slipping on the water-covered floor. I scramble to his side, the cold water soaking into my clothes quickly as I reach into the tub. My hands tremble as I pull him up, desperately trying to keep his head above the water.

"Nicolas!" My voice echoes with a mix of fear and desperation, tears streaming down my face as I struggle to hold him up, his body limp and unresponsive.

Desperation and fear courses through my veins as I pull Nicolas out of the bathtub, water cascading down onto the bathroom floor, my own clothes now thoroughly drenched. I lay him on the floor, his body limp and unresponsive before me. The room is filled with a chilling silence, only the sound of dripping water echoing in the air. Panicked sobs wrack my body as I gently lift his lifeless form in my arms, my fingers searching for a pulse, anything that might indicate life still lingers within him..

The seconds feel like agonizing hours as my fingers press against his wrist, desperately seeking any sign of a heartbeat. Finally, a faint pulse pulses beneath my fingertips, a flicker of hope amid the darkness. I inhale a sharp breath, a mix of relief and despair mingling within me as I realize that he's still alive, but barely.

I lower my head, tears streaming down my face as the reality of the situation sets in. I clutch him tightly, whispering reassurances into his ears, hoping that even in unconsciousness he can hear my words. Desperation fuels my actions as I plead for him to open his eyes, to show any sign of life beyond the faint pulse I feel.
