That night i had a dream. A bad dream. I was sleeping on the hospital bed. It was around midnight when a dark red shadow emerged from the hallways and stood outside my door. I tried to move , but i couldn't. I tried to use my voice but i simply couldnt speak. The shadow walked in and stood over me,towering. It was that accursed reaper. He looked at me with shewr discontent.
" I wanted to give you an offer"
"You ruined my job. It's my job to chose who dies and who lives. You broke the balance." He glared at me wide eyed.
I tried to move , to push him away but I was stuck.
"I was going to make you an offer. I would have erased Light's memories of the Death Note forever and handed one to you. So that the balance would remain and you could do my job-but"
" but you acted oversmart." He tsked.
" I told you to come alone but you brought him with you. He wasn't even supposed to live. I Killed him. You had no right to give him life back" the way he pronounced the last sentence gave me chills.
"So now, you will suffer. You survived this time because the can't die in this world. Because this world is not your real world. But now things will change. Suffer."
A bead of sweat dripped down my face.

I woke up to the noise of indistinct chatter. I could see across the room, a doctor with bright blue glasses holding a huge file standing infront of Mr. Yagami and Light.
My ears started picking up their faint noises.
"She's completely fine now she just needs rest " the doctor said flipping through a few pages.
"Surprisingly there are no complications. It's a miracle that she survived that, honestly " Light breathed a sigh of relief.
Well I knew I wouldn't die anyway. I can't die. If I die I get resurrected right away because this isn't my real world- wait what? I suddenly remembered that dream and the Reapers words. What if he took that ability away from me? No... it was a dream how could I know if I just dreamt all that due to exhaustion? I decided to stop thinking about that.
"Can we take her home today?" Asked Light nervously.
The doctor took a look at my reports again and then took a quick glance at me.
"She's fit to go" he smiled before leaving the room.
Light beamed and cupped my face in his hand. "We're going home Y/n"
I gave him a faint smile. Mrs Yagami peaked into the room , checking if it was the right one. When she saw me she hurriedly pushed the door open and ran in.
"Y/n!" She cried. She hugged me. When she realised I'm okay ,the first thing she did was wack me.
"What were you thinking? You fool!"
"Ah ah I won't do it again Mam i swear"
Her anger turned emotional and she hugged me tight again. I smiled.
"You're coming home with us till you're fine"
I raised my hands up to indicate that I had surrendered.
She gently caressed my head .
Sayu hugged me without saying a word. Light gave me a few spare clothes to change into. My body was sore but I suffered minimal injuries. I changed and came out , taking my time.
"Let's go to the task force office first, shall we?" I suggested stretching a bit.
Light looked at me in disbelief.
"What's wrong with you? We're going home and you're going to rest."
I laughed at Light.
"Oh c'mon Light. I wasn't made to rest. Plus its time I answer their questions."
Light shook his head.
" Y/n absolutely not- we are going home"
I looked at him and smirked.
"Are we? We're going to the task force office, love. No debating "
Light blushed and looked away.
He tried to stop me but I was more stubborn than anyone in this world.
He eventually gave in . Soichiro Yagami listened from the side and shook his head in disbelief.
Light would point out every detail in the whole journey.
"Y/n don't walk so fast, your legs need a break"
"Y/n Don't jump like that you'll get hurt"
"Y/n! Don't run here it's slippery!"
I looked at him and laughed while sitting in the car next to him.
"I'm fine!! You don't need to be so careful. Acting like a boyfriend or something "
Light raised a brow at my comment.
"Wait a sec." I smirked.
"You are my boyfriend now"
Light looked back at me with those mesmerizing eyes of his as a pink tint covered his cheeks.
"Yeah I am. I will take of you and you can't do anything about it "
Light held my hand and intertwined our fingers.
"Okay sweetheart " I said messing with him.
I felt his heartbeat rise and laughed. Now that I think of it, It must have been awkward for Mr. Yagami to listen to.
The car came to an abrupt halt and the three of us walked into the building.
" You two go in, I'm just using the restroom and coming" I told them. The father and son entered the room and sat with the other members.
I came a few minutes later . Before entering the room I heard a few faint noises from within. I pressed my ears to the door.
[ " Oh come on Mr. Yagami! It's obvious she has something to do with all these deaths" Mogi yelled.

Matsuda shrugged. " h-hes right. They found Raye penbers body In the same building. Why would she be there in the first place?"

Light snarled at the two of them clearly not happy with their statement.
"What's wrong with you guys? She must have had valid reasons"

" You're taking her side because you like her. It's clear that she was up to something" Mogi snapped at Light.

Matsuda backed him up. "Yeah it's not looking good for her. I can't think of any reasons that why she would be ther-

I slammed opened the door.
Everyone looked at me. Matsuda and Mogi just shut their mouths and looked away. I didn't say anything, I just made my way in and took my spot on the computer table. No one spoke for moments and it was dead silent. Mogi cleared his throat.

"Aren't you gonna say something Y/n?"
I turned around to face him and sighed.
Light glared at him harshly. L was quiet the while time. He was just zoned out into the distance.

I pinched the bridge of my nose.
"What do you want me to say, Mogi?"
Mogi snarled at Me. And suddenly everyone was talking at the same time.
"Tell us the truth what're you hiding!"
"I'm not hiding anything"
"She's not hiding anything!"
"Oh cmon give me a break she's probably been deceiving us this whole time!"
"I have not"
"She has not!"
I was grateful for light backing me up but I doubt it made a difference to mogi. Matsuda and Mr Yagami got involved too and all our voices were louder than ever, causing that extra commotion.
Between our screams and insults suddenly L appeared to have reached him limit. The commotion was abruptly halted when L banged the table.
"SILENCE!" He yelled.
That was the FIRST time I heard him yell. He got up from his chair and glared at Mogi. Everybody leave. Y/n stay.
Light clicked his tongue.
" that's not necessary -"
" I said EVERYBODY leave" L glared at Light. They all left one by one and only us two were left in the room.
I gulped before looking at L. Was he suspicious of me? I sighed.
"Look , ryuzaki I know what yo-
He caught me offguard by attacking me in a hug. I just stood there in confusion.
"What happened-"
He looked at me with the most hurt expression ever.
