Amaya didn't know what she was going to do. She had no idea how she was going to fight an army of skeletons, let alone three Furies. She needed to give Percy the extra time she could, to finish the quest.

"Halt." Hades spoke raising one hand up, the army or skeletons all came to a stop, Mrs. Dodds sneered at Amaya before backing off.

Amaya felt a mix of relief and worry, she thought Hades would have ended her there and then, and she was thankful he didn't. But she also felt worry, worried he would order his army to kill her later, after he talked with her, she needed to get ready for the worst.

She looked at the army and the army looked at her, none of them moved, which worried her. She was worried they would be waiting for the right time to strike, or maybe if she moved, she would anger Hades, but she didn't know, and in all honesty, the only reason she did care was because she didn't want to die. She waited to see if Hades would talk to her or not.

"So, Hecate's daughter," He said, "I have respect for your mother, but you don't have my respect. What do you think you are doing?"

Amaya looked at Hades, he looked as intimidating as ever. She tried to speak clearly so that he could hear her, but he looked like she annoyed him just by talking.

"I uhh." Amaya took a deep breath, "Zeus bolt got stolen and we got sent on a quest to find it, and we kinda thought it was you and-"

Hades cut her off, "Well you thought wrong, did you really think I would be that stupid to steal Zeus's bolt?" He said, angry at her.

Amaya's head down, "No, well, we thought it was cause you also hate Zeus."

Hades looked at her before sighing, "I suppose that must have seemed reasonable." He said, "Although, you came here not knowing if I had it?"

"Well, yeah." She realized how dumb that was, "My friends probably realized Ares was the one that stole it so, all good?"

Hades stared at Amaya for a long time, it scared her a bit. But after a while, he sighed, "You should be thankful your mother is Hecate, otherwise I wouldn't even be speaking with you or letting you live."

Amaya let out a small smile, she was glad Hecate was her mother, otherwise she would have most likely been dead right now.

"Okay, cool." Amaya had never been more grateful for Hecate than she was now, she couldn't help but wonder how much stuff she could get away with, by being the daughter of Hecate.

After a long pause, Hades finally spoke again.

"As much as you may think you can get away with anything now that you are the daughter of Hecate. I want to make it clear, and make it clear right now, that my respect for your mother does not equal respect for you."

Hades said seriously, "I will not go soft on you like I would for your mother, if you cause the tiniest problem, if you step even a tiny bit out of line then I will show you no mercy like I would for your mother, you understand?"
