Nicolas Malfoy

"It's been two days Nic! Two! I don't care if dark lord gets suspicious of my loyalty I have to get Athena out of there," Draco slams his fist onto the table of which Nicolas was standing on the other side with his head hung low between his shoulders.

Nicolas' fingers tightly grasping the edge of the table. "Don't you think I fucking know that! I can't save her and let you fucking die" he grits his teeth

"I'll die anyway if something happens to her!" Draco retorts, his voice wavering in both anger and anguish. "How can you even think like that? How can you risk her life like that?"

Nicolas doesn't respond, his gaze fixed on the table, seemingly avoiding Draco's gaze. His jaw clenches tightly as he struggles with the internal conflict. He has been dying every second from the past two days to think what she must have been going through.

Draco sighs. "Nic. I can't lose her again. I can't just stand here, doing nothing. I don't care if the dark lord or half the wizarding world wants me dead. I have to get her back. We need a plan."

"And what makes you think I don't want to save her?" Nicolas snaps, finally lifting his gaze to meet Draco's eyes. "I want her back just as badly as you do. You know I looked in the Azkaban she wasn't in any cells,"

"But you told me about the tracking charm you gave her-"

"Is useless. Her magic has completely blocked it." Nicolas cuts off Draco, his voice tinged with frustration.

"What about the dementors?" Draco asks, hope edging into his tone. "Could we use them to find her? Could they sense her presence or-"

"No," Nicolas interrupts, his voice firm. "I tried. They don't feel anything. She must have found a way to keep them at bay. Or..." his voice trailed off, the unspoken possibility hanging in the air.

"Or what, Nic?" Draco presses, his eyes searching Nicolas' face for an answer.

Nicolas hesitates, taking a deep breath before responding. "Or... or something has happened to her magic," he says, his voice quiet and strained. "If her magic has been somehow completely suppressed, it would explain why the tracking charm doesn't work and why the dementors can't feel her presence."

"And she wasn't in any cells the prisioners are normally kept" Nicolas adds

"Wouldn't that...wouldn't that be a good thing though?" Draco asks, his expression hopeful. "If she's not in the cells then she's somewhere else. There's still a chance we can find her."

Nicolas nods slowly. "It's a possibility, yes. But the fact that her magic has been suppressed means whoever took her knew what they were doing. They knew how to contain her. That makes the situation all the more dangerous."

"Danger, right," Draco mutters under his breath, running a hand through his hair in frustration. "Like this whole thing isn't dangerous enough. If she's not in the regular cells where could she be"

Nicolas remains silent for a beat, his mind racing as he ponders the possible locations. "There are other places in Azkaban where prisoners are held," he says after a moment. "There are solitary confinement cells, death row areas, and other secured sites within the fortress. It's possible that she's being held in one of those locations."

Draco nods, his expression turning more pensive. "We need more information. We need to find out where those locations are and narrow down which one she could be in. I'll go in get her out—"
