Mayukh POV:
"Easy. Enter slowly." I heard Bhai said to Bhabhi as we entered home. We walked in and Bhai immediately placed her on the couch while the baby was in my hand.
"Bhabhi, are you good?" I asked, keeping the baby next to her.
"Yes I'm fine. You tell me?"
"I'm good."
Juma Aunty brought Bhabhi food and we settled down having lunch.
"So tell me, what the heck happened to you and Nikita? Why's she so scared?"
"I don't know Bhabhi. I wish I did. I just... I really don't know."
"Why did you run out with her?"
I sighed and explained her entire medical story to Bhabhi, while Bhabhi sat in shock and anger.
"We need to have a chat with that aunt of hers, is she still in jail?"
"Yes Bhabhi. I made sure she gets a life sentence."
"Now what about her?"
"I'm going to be with her. I'll fix her. I did it once and I'll do it again."
She chuckled, "Are you going to tell Mummy ji Papa Ji?"
"I'll tell them in due time. Things have been so chaotic, I'll tell them soon."
"Well you can tell them in 1 week, they're coming here. We're going to have the naming ceremony in UK, it'll be a close intimate ceremony with few friends and family, because traveling is not safe right now." Bhai added.
"We have our private jet Bhai."
"No but still, not now."I chuckled at how protective Bhai was towards Bhabhi.
"She... she called me Dada today." Bhai said smiling softly.
"What? Really?"
"Yep. It felt good."
"Well bring her back Bhai."
"Chalo. I'll leave you guys now. I'll go visit my wife." I smirked and they both smiled.
"Be safe, and be nice." Bhabhi said.
"Yeah take care of my sister." Bhai smiled.
"I'll be back tomorrow." I said and caressed the baby once.I left the hall smiling and sat in my car and headed to Nikita's place. When I knocked, I was surprised to see Esha open the door.
"Esha?!"
"Mayukh? Hi." She said, letting me in.
"What's up? It's been so long, how are you?"
"I'm good."
An awkward silence followed, how do I tell her why I'm here?
"I... I was just—"
"You're here for Nikita right?" She asked, smiling softly.
"I... Yeah." I sighed, "how did you know?"
"Come, sit." She guided me to the couch and I sat, "I know about your past. The marriage and stuff. I know you're meeting her after a year."
"Oh. I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner."
"Arre no it's fine. You wouldn't have and at that time it's fine. She told me about it when she came here."
"Yeah..."
"It's been hard for her. I don't know what you hate her for, and I don't blame you, she's been running away, but she's a good person. Trust me."
"I know she is. I..." I told her everything about the misunderstandings I had with the letter she wrote and the letter Riya had written and how I recently found the truth.
"What a—" Esha said through anger.
"I know."
"Did you expose her?"
"We called her out but we let her go because we don't have enough evidence to take her to court. She can either leave us alone and we let it go or she does something else and we take her to court."
Esha nodded and then smirked, "Okay then, I'll leave you guys alone. Please take care of her."
"I will. Thank you and you can stay home if you want, I'll take her out for a while."
"No no I was leaving to meet Sid anyway."
"Sid's in London?!"
"Yes! We're official now!"
"Oh my God, congrats!" I said hugging her, "Let me know when you're both free, let's all go out. I'll be here for a while."
"Of course, but is all okay with you?"
"Yes yes. My Bhabhi just gave birth yesterday."
"Oh Wow Congrats!!!"
"Thank you!"
"Chalo, I'll get going, I'll see you in a while!"
"Yep. Thank you! See you!"Esha walked out and I walked towards Nikita's room when I heard muffled sobs. I instantly entered and saw her sitting there, with her laptop open and her in tears. Her face startled seeing me as she closed her laptop shut.
"Wh..what are you doing here?" She asked.
"Are you okay? How's your health?"
"I'm fine."
"Nikita, I need honesty. If you're fine you wouldn't be crying like this."
"I'm okay. I... just was watching something."
"Get ready."
"What?"
"Get ready. I'm taking you out."
"N...No."
"Wife, I'm only asking you once. Please listen to me."
"I... I won't."
"Okay. Then I'm not responsible for what's next." I said coming closer.
