HEESEUNG
Jay was taking an awful lot of time in the washroom, so I decided to text him.

not the time
come to the reception asap its an emergency
yuns unconscious n we need to go to the hospital
ive already called the ambulance from here
i bet the infirmary here is useless, cant risk itI didn't know the finer details about what happened to her, but I was worried. Since the professor wouldn't allow another student to disturb his class again, I decide to play a diffeent card.
I press my stomach really hard and dramatically fall to the ground. The people surrounding me gasp, while Sunghoon, my seatmate, casually rolls his eyes. I guess he could tell I was acting.
"Professor... I don't feel too good," I say with a pained look on my face, before covering my mouth with both my hands. I meant to give an impression that I was going to throw up, and he totally buys it, ushering me out of the class. Jeongin flashes a worried look as I leave the class, and for a split second, I feel bad for deceiving him.
"Holy shit... what happened to her?" I ask as soon as I arrive at the reception, noticing a bloody-headed Yunhee in a restless Jay's arms, seated on the couch.
"Not now. Where's the nearest hospital?" He asks, seemingly frustrated from the wait. I couldn't blame him— she did seem to be in a pathetic state.
"Like five min-" I recall the structure of the hospital as Jay gets on his feet. I look at him as though he was some madman. "What the hell are you doing?"
"Taking her to the hospital. I can't sit around waiting for an ambulance. What if she gets worse?" He asks as he runs with her in his arms. I try to catch up with him to knock some sense into him.
"Are you crazy? I'm sure it'll be here any minute. Just because its nearby doesn't mean it's logical for you to run all the way there." He pays no heed to me.
After a few minutes of sprinting, I momentarily stop to catch a break. Jay, however, was determined. He didn't stop till he was sure she was on a stretcher and taken inside to be cared for. He starts panting hevaily as soon as she gets taken from his arms, having beads of sweat decorating his forehead. I stop to catch my breath as well.
"What. The. HELL?" I ask him, finally taking in just how insane Jay was to run from the campus to the hospital without hesitating. He didn't seem to regret it, until...
"JAY!" I call out as everything suddenly hits him together and he goes weak on his knees. He falls down, becoming fully unconscious.

I was stressed as HECK. Not only did I worry for Yunhee now, but Jay as well.
Okay, Jay did regain consciousness a few minutes back, but the way he was trying to run out of here to see if Yunhee was fine was keeping me on edge. He was restless and kept tapping his feet on the floor.
While I was waiting for Jay to wake up, Sunghoon had made a quick call to inquire about my disappearance. I quickly updated him on the situation and asked him to let her friends know, but at the same time ask none of them to come visit her. Surely she'd need some space after waking up.
Just then, a nurse comes into the room we were seated in. She looks up at us before hesitantly asking us a question.
"Miss Choi Yunhee's... boyfriend? Brother?" She asks doubtfully upon inspecting our faces. Typically, they'd ask for a guardian but I guess neither of us looked the part. Jay leaps up from his seat.
