"Since I know your secrets, it's only right that I tell you mine," Yunhee says as she takes a deep breath, mentally preparing herself for all the teasing to come.

She wanted to meet up with Heeseung and Ryujin at a pizza place before leaving the country in a few hours, and being the definitely jobless university students that they are, they agreed without a second's hesitation. Ryujin had broken the news about Yunhee and Jay's "sudden" Italy trip to everyone in the group, and to say that they were shocked would be an understatement. They definitely didn't see it coming.

"Get on with it already," Heeseung says as he swallows a bite of pizza, waiting for the girl in next to him to drop the suspense. In reality, both her friends had a feeling they knew what was coming. She sighs.

"I-"

Before she could even start her sentence, Heeseung and Ryujin complete it for her.

"-like Jay."

She looks at them in shock, as though the entire world found out. The entire world probably could've figured it out from the way they act around each other, though.

"That's- how did you know? I didn't tell anyone though???" Yunhee looks back at them in astonishment, and the other two could barely look more interested although they were actually waiting for all the juicy details now that she finally confessed.

"Bae, here's the thing about love," Ryujin says with a knowing look on her face, suddenly carrying the aura of a wise old grandma. "Your gaze? They're your biggest enemy. With the way you look at him, even a dumbass like Heeseung can tell you've fallen for him."

"Hey— that was unprovoked!" Heeseung says defensively, rising up from his seat. Yunhee tugs the sleeve of his tshirt, asking him to sit down before he brings attention to their table. Ryujin, the supposedly "mature" one, looks back at him with an annoying smile, proceeding to poke her tongue out at him.

"Anyways, don't go broadcasting this news anywhere, alright? The last thing I need is another one of his fangirls wanting to behead me," Yunhee says, shuddering at the thought of last time's events.

"Of course not. Also, I think Italy is a great opportunity to tell him how you feel. You'll never get him alone to yourself like this any time soon," Heeseung advises, breaking out of his usual character, which was nodding and agreeing to everything the girls said.

""Good opportunity" my ass. There's no way in hell I'm going and embarrassing myself like that," Yunhee scoffs as she rejects his idea as soon as she hears it. "As it is he's been having all these mood swings. First he was excited about going tomorrow, and now he's acting like I caused the wedding to fall apart or something."

Just then, Ryujin's phone starts ringing, immediately bringing their attention to the name displayed on the device that sat next to her chocolate milkshake.

"Jay?" All three of them sound together, trying to figure out why on earth he'd be calling her when they're not even that close. Truth be told, Yunhee felt a little sour at that. You couldn't blame her— they went from being a bickering old couple to distant strangers within the span of a few hours, and before he even reaches out to her he's talking to Ryujin?

"Yeah, she's with me," Ryujin says soon after answering the call, side-eyeing Yunhee. Heeseung gives a questioning look to her, to which she could only reply with a shrug.

"Okay, fine," she tells Jay as she gets up from her seat and walks out of the restaurant. What did he want to tell Ryujiin that was so private that even Yunhee, who he was actually close with, couldn't listen to?

"What did you do this time?" Heeseung asks Yunhee with a fake-disappointed look on his face, acting as though she was a habitual offender. She scoffs in response, throwing a packet of pepper (sealed, of course) at him. Said guy flinches before the little object could even touch a fiber of his being.
